Hang tight everyone. Clay and I are working overtime to get updates and v1 out for all to enjoy! Can't wait to show y'all why the extra time has mattered. Happy Friday everyone!
I personally find the lack of videos and screenshots are getting me more excited. Maybe that's good, remember the old days, when you knew almost nothing a bout a game, you opened it and it was all new, you didn't have a bunch of screenshots depicting that level. If this game was on kick starter, you would have a right to complain about the promises, and the lack of showing the game, but considering the games genre, survival and mystery-esque post apocalypse, it might not be so bad not having screens or a video. Good ideas for the game, and as ever I am looking forward to a release.
Yep same here. It's coming out soon. I can wait a it longer plus the suspense etc is great. As you say in the old days games just appeared. Now people start moaning the second a games late (shock horror these things do happen !)
Im totally not whining or am impatient, just as BADMZ said, i was merely suggesting that promising and not delivering isn't good for business. Nor do i think this game is a scam or that these developers aren't really making anything at all. Sure, it makes sense that these empty promises are just a means of keeping hype alive as many fans may be impatient and could easily lose interest with long periods if silence... but i also want to believe that as said by the devs, they simply pushed back because they thought of ways to improve upon what they had or encountered bugs that needed fixing. Regardless, sorry to say, it's pretty unprofessional and is a good way to kill the trust of a good portion of your fan base. Instead of giving dates or time frames regarding your plans on releasing anything at all, just pop in every now and then to let us know you're both still working hard at it, answer some fan questions if you want, and drop screens and videos as they're ready to be released to the public. I hope your motivation to continue work on this game is still going strong as i know how it feels to lose interest a good ways in, having about three unfinished abandoned games myself. I hope you guys take what we're saying into consideration as all we want for you guys is the best, and for your game to truly be greatly successful. Cheers!
Thanks everyone for your feedback, encouragement and honesty. Clay and I have been up to big changes that will make The Wild absolutely fantastic and unique. Hang tight, have a great weekend and we'll be back with a big refresh soon. -Daniel P.S we found some melee weapons with various levels of blood coverage- will be a great feedback feature!
I'm sure they will. I was asking because I know they said a while back they would put one up and I'm not sure if they did or not. Is there a vid floating around somewhere?
Is there going to be wild life like a bunch of different types of animals? And will we be able to skin and take their meat? Because if you do have it, it'll feel so much like a survival game.
That just makes things a lot clearer , but I wonder if we can gather fruits and other stuff. Now that would be cool
