This game is going to be a HUGE success. The reason why is because the dev team is so kind and listens to our ideas and responds. You can rarely find that anywhere. I just want to thank you guys for being so great!
Have you still got a 3rd gen ? You cant really expect a game like this to support 3rd gens ? Sadly thats the way iOS devices are, i had to sell my ipod touch 4th gen and iphone 4 as more and more games were crashing. On the other hand you stick a generation or so behind (i've now got an iphone 4s) you can pick them up dirt cheap (£200 for a 64 gig iphone 4s). But i cant believe a game like this would or should support 3rd gen devices. Agree with some of what goodboyback below says but i wouldnt get the latest iphone, like i say a generation behind or two is fine (iphone 4s up)
I suppose you'll have to upgrade mate,this game is a resource hog and it's impossible to support iphone 4 or older.It's upto you to decidecwhat you want a ganing phone or a cheap phone + vita/3ds.By the looks of it I would suggest waiting till the new iphone is released.

Come on thats a bit over dramatic. I wouldnt say 'attack', its just the vast majority seem to have newer devices. People still talk about 4th gen devices and compatibility but a game like this, cant believe its easy to make it compatible with 3rd gen devices. Perhaps the dev will surprise us and say he can but i highly doubt it
Dev Update: This Weeks Showcase The weeks have been adding up! This week we'll be showing you the following; 1). FP UX- First person experience with full body (movement including crouch and sneaking) 2). Interactions - looting weapons/tools, inventory ui (tabs with list views, v1 tabs will include weapons/tools, crafting. we're adding player tab for clothing and firearms in first update 1.1) 3. Crafting- fireplaces, shelters, stone axe, spear 4. Island - natural regions, will update adding the military bunkers with the v1.1 military expansion. If all goes well this week, the only thing left to ship will be refining the combat/ai system. Updates after v1 will be as important as v1 launch. Thanks for everyones support and excitement!!
Not really Sir,I didn't mean upset you there I myself own an ipad 2 which I'm afraid will be dropped for support in the next year or so.It's sad how quickly these devices may get outdated that's why buying a vita+cheap android is what majority of my friends did.You can expect a vita to last atleast 4-5 years without a hitch or terrible performance in games.I got myself an iphone 5s just because I was saving up for a phone for a long time and got tired of using (very cheap) android's 5s being my first iphone.
When is the beta test then?Is it after version 1?Because in that case every customer will be a beta tester.
