What do developers generally looks for in a beta tester application? Experience in beta testing? Jailbreak or no jailbreak? Device is a must but anything else that the public doesn't generally know?
Experience with beta testing is sure to help, also the assurance that you will give helpful advice (not just that you want the beta just to play it a bit early)
Idk do they prefer paragraph essay like long responses in their application or short and to the point 0.o? What do you think?
Back-end dev is coming to a close. Vast imporvements had been made and will continue. Together, we're making this the best we can.
Exactly 3mry5! Though in terms of hard data, I at least need to know what gen device(s). And hopefully you like playing 3d fps's haha! The essential purpose for our small beta program will be to test responsiveness with regards to the controls, moreover the core mechanics. Happy week to everyone!
Monday Dev Update Hello everyone, We're set to roll with a world that is 50% underground bunkers, 50% outdoor vast mountain range- leaning towards winter for a variety of gameplay reasons- we both love the idea of very cold nights and gorgeous days, also we'll introduce the seasons by the ice giving way to streams later on in the 1.5 patch. Very important, the interior bunkers will be procedurally generated. Therefore giving yall a fresh pass everytime. This will become more and more important as we introduce new items, weapons, tools and enemies (ex. different types of deformed, soliders). Very excited about this! Clay's busy finishing the first person experience with the full body implemented- really makes the experience so immersive and a heck of a lot of fun to experience with Oculus Rift VR. He's just working out a few kinks in the camera being actully attached to a fully moving body! I know everyone wants to see updated screens and gameplay, to that I say it's coming soon, and we've never been closer. Happy week to everyone. -Daniel
Yeah if you need the extra time take it. Don't rush the game you have all the time you need. Keep up the good work.
We're nearing the end of technical development, and starting to put all the systems together. Adding the crafting to v1 has increased our dev time slightly but is well worth it. We're about 75% complete. Ps. Very excited about the procedural underground experiences!!
What do you guys mean by 50% underground, like where would we be underground? So, if we play underground will we be able to see the deformed there?
