I'm not trying to rush you guys in any way but how long do you think the gameplay video will be? How many forms will the deformed have? And I was thinking the other day, it kinda seems like this has a hint of resident evil in it. If RE was a survival game lol

So you're absolutely right on the money- replacing dumb zombies with intelligent deformed has given us some substantial survivor horror feel. Without giving too much away, there are multiple types of deformed, as well as chieftains. Happy monday geno11233!
Another question Will the deformed be carrying any weapons themselves or if you kill one will they have any loot on them? What about players seeing in the dark(touches/night vision) or will the moon light be enough? I am bored of killing zombies in games, so happy that you have gone down a different path Thanks
Call me a fanboy if you may, but I always held the belief that Halo 3 had the most interesting Deformed Zombie type enemies. They modded continually and they were quite unique from one another. Can we expect a uniques set of enemies such as those stated above ?
Great questions all around Mark-HC! 1. Yes, the deformed will use weapons, just dont know if they'll use firearms. They are nocturnal, have line of sight, sound, and sense hostility. 2. In terms of seeing in the dark - you got it! we've got moonlight, torches and maybe flashlight.
What would be amazing would be some kind of camouflage meter thing. Like in metal gear solid (earlier ones I guess..) where the chamolflague/warp ain't you chose affected your chance of being spotted. Something similar to this, with different craftable camouflage options, would be amazing. Or is that an awful idea?
In my humble opinion, it is, haha, only MGS3 and PW had that camo index and they were removed for the better, if you want a more immersive experience, the less hud the better. Besides, it's unrealistic, it worked for PW cause the tone of the game was far more cartoony than any other MGS game, if you think about it, you can't possibly know with exactitude how visible you are to the enemy, you can only hide and hope to pass unnoticed.
Giving more people the ability to experience The Wild on day one should fundamentally be our goal in the short term. Therefore we made it so. It required us to think outside the box for solutions. But that's half the fun. P.S working overtime trying to get an update out on the forums tonight.
