New screen teasers look awesome, though I have two, albeit pretty minor complaints as far as I see.

Sky looks pretty uninteresting, with little depth, which means everything blends in too closely together. I wanna see some awesome sky stuff and get distracted by clouds while a mutant chomps on me. :p
Also, the hands of the dude look really low-res. I assume that this is, more or less, an alpha build which is probably the reason why.

Also, both things could be limitations of the Unity Engine iOS Assets, which would be a likely cause for these.

Either way, keep up that super awesome schweet work. I really can't wait for when this releases. Already ordered an iPad Air for this mofo.

    Feature Suggestion!

I have feature suggestion which is that there could be eclipses that happen rarely!

In this week's update we'll be tackling the looting system and inventory UI. We wanna really get that functioning beautifully- including player armor and weapon customization. This will prepare us for polishing combat next week.

I know the day-night system we have has different moon phases which are really great. But i don't think it has eclipses. I'll look into it after gameplay is done and awesome.

That's right, just testing various settings. We'll update this week with all the same rez/quality settings. The exciting thing is we'll get to put The Wild on MANY iOS devices not just iPhone 5s and Air. (and now that Amazon Fire TV has launched), hopefully we'll be playing The Wild on the big screen with new a Apple TV soon. :)

Looks great, but what are the enemies? If there is crazy survivors who's trying to kill you it would be great. Please don't make that game a shooting gallery

What do you guys have planned for human enemies besides the mutants and "soldiers"? Maybe other human survivors that were on the island first like some kind of tribal sort of people?

After we finish the looting system this week you'll be seeing a lot more of the enemies in our updates and first page post! :)

Without giving too much away we'll have 3 types of enemies in The Wild: 1)human- example soliders, 2)experiments - example mutants, 3) wildlife (in the crafting update right after launch).

We'll do it just like we're doing it now- with solid weekly updates. :)

    Exactly! :)
We're doing weekly updates now to get the core shipped to the App Store, and after The Wild is launched, we're continuing to provide the game with the weekly updates post v1. That way we can ensure both lots of content updates as well as larger feature updates. As an example we'll probably implement the crafting update in two parts- wildlife with meat as a resource that can be gathered and cooked, then dive deeper into the crafting in general with traps, barriers, shelters and bow/arrows.

Ok, not sure what happened when I said "my outré (damn autocorrect, but haha, I'm glad you understood.

And in response to your answer: Ok awesome! Hopefully Apple's review times won't get in the way haha

    Wait!

Wait, it sounds like there won't be a beta test and that the game will be launched at the end of April! Is that true? (Also I did say that I will forget about this game until beta but this game is really making its territory in my head:p)
