We will definitely have the Mauser sans stock for v1! Weapon customization is on the agenda after intial launch so all in all you'll probably be seeing exactly what you're asking for.
So are the enemies going to be realistic to kill by say shooting them in an unarmored region of the head would be a killing shot.
Thats fantastic news. Are arrows going to be reusable and shown in bodies, trees, etc? I realize I post alot about the archery in this thread, just excited that a game on ios might get it right.
Arrows will definitely be reusable- loot menu(Rust style) or if we have time, shown on body. Overall, in the crafting update we're including a hatchet, bow and arrow, traps and temp shelters to create, and feature-wise updating the core experience with item deterioration and wildlife. Gettin' the core experience out, then we're right on it!
That sounds great. I am well and truly excited for this game. You guys came out of nowhere with an amazing idea, and some of the best progress updates/ community interaction I've seen. Kudos to you, and thanks for the constant feedback.
This is awesome just awesome. Since you mentioned traps I wonder if in that crafting update you could set up a trap by having a rifle set up to fire at a door when opened which could be used against you or against enemies.

Are there going to be random bodies scattered around that you can loot? Like in abandonded buildings and sometimes just in the forest...? Could be a nice way to aquire new items and make the place feel more menacing/deadly in a way
