I probably know the answer but I have to ask, how come so far only A7 chip? I understand the differences between the chips but I'm curious as to does the A6 have problems running it? Edit. Meant to add that it looks very good and is definitely an interesting concept for iOS and am very much looking forward to seeing it on device. Best of luck with it.
this looks beyond awesome! but how can an open world game this graphically intense be only 500mb? also what do you mean by "first version"? is it like the pre alpha?

As we finish the first of the 3 phases till we ship v1 of The Wild (Sandbox->Combat->Looting), we've been very busy optimizing for iOS render settings.
3 phases till we ship v1 of The Wild (Sandbox->Combat->Looting). We've just about approached the end of the sandbox phase. Now we are on to adding enemies (like the pic of the ghoul), and wildlife. then we'll finish off with Dayz/Stalker style looting survival mechanic.
Random Generation? Will the island (Map) be randomly generated? So each time you play, the map will be different!
Also... 1st Last Set Of Questions: -Will there be weather effects? -If yes, what weather effects(Rain,Snow, Thunderstorm)? 2nd Last Set Of Questions: -Will there be online multiplayer after the game gets released?(Servers, Co-Op, 4 Players etc.) 3rd Last Set Of Questions: -Will there be randomly generated buildings? -If yes, will there be loot inside the buildings?
A/A Yeah it does have the potential to be cool! But servers might be the big thing really! Who knows if Multiplayer will be even added!
