Stalker is the first thing I thought of. It was a great, although buggy (for me), game. In general I haven't liked too many FPS on iOS. Some have been really good though (Deus Ex in specific). I have high hopes for this. From the premise to the screen shots, it really looks like it could end up being my favourite in the genre on the AppStore.

Besides the Kar98, what other weapons will we be seeing? Or would that be spoiling the surprise?

All I'm going to say is that we're implementing 1900s style ranged and melee. Ammo will be precious, melee will be brutal. We've got a snapshot showcasing some of the items on our first post! Thanks for the question.

The graphical effects in this are amazing the way the sun gleams off of those three silos and the awesome way the rain is all around great work, great work.

Looks great so far guys! Couple questions: Will there be iron sights for weapons? (I find hip firing very unrealistic) And will there be some more real dangers such as exposure, mosquitos etc...?

Oh yes to the iron sights, and yes to environmental factors - like cold, radiation!

Oh yes! Absolutely essential for a survival experience. All buildings have interiors as well.

Happy to hear you're digging our style for The Wild.

P.s I still play STALKER about once a month, such an immersive experience. ;)

I think one thing that surprisingly no one has asked for is if there will be iOS 7 controller support. (I'm sure the answer is yes but just checking:p)

    Pets..

I bet no one asked this but will there be pets? Or another way will there be a way of taming animals?

Yup, the AI is pretty bad but I keep coming back anyway lol

The iOS is a hell of a platform for FPS, the controls translate very well, this could very well be my favorite too.

Yup, me too, don't care about the bugs, it's just a good experience.

Oh loving the style :D so, do you plan to implement atmospheric music? Or will the sounds of nature be our music?

This plays into the hostility feature of our ai. Therefore as we get closer to v1 and start discussing updates, this is something we'll put on the whiteboard. :)

But it would be more of becoming friendly with a wolf by giving it food and over time it could become more pet-like.

Exactly- the world all around you is the "score". If we do any "music" it will probably be faint, for instance a low drone sound in the dark bunkers(some of the screens showcase bunkers).
