THE WILD - Winter Survival - Need Fans Help Hey TouchArcade! I need your help. I'd like your input on either of the two banners/app icons. I want to make sure every layer of v1 THE WILD has winter survival baked-in. As such I've revised the branding and such to better reflect our design needs. Which in your opinion is a better banner/app icon? Which one helps drive the winter feel? Thanks yall!
The black letter and white background looks way better in my opinion! Gives it the winter feel more than the black background
Definitely the black words and the white background. It actually looks pretty cool, since we normally see the opposite in most video games (white words, black background)
Definitely go for the black lettering on a white background, especially if you can somehow make it appear to be emerging from a blizzard aha, or slightly obscured/buried in snow? I don't mean anything too gimmicky, still stick with the black and white.
The black letter one really has the dramatic survival feel on it, while the white letter one has a futuristic survival feel to it. I think I'll go with the white letter, and it appears I'm the only one who votes for it...
Yup agreeing with everyone else here. Only thing is that if everyone looks back to pg 1 of this thread, there's a cool logo there so if you could do the white background one with the lettering all scratched, that'd be cool #
Thanks very much buddy! We've got a few more surprises to unveil before we ship out testflight 2 and launch v1! We are very thankful to you and rest of the toucharcade community in helping us shape and craft our first large scale game. Some things changed through the process but always about hardcore wilderness survival.
