It's embarrassing reading some comments here The dev has worked on this game for months. They're obviously still doing it and can't post every 4 minutes in this thread If this game fails they could have major financial problems. They've worked on it for months. They need it to be a success and I'm sure they're doing as much as they can to make it polished So what if a games delayed a bit. They have to get this right. People are acting like spoilt kids at Xmas. It's delayed a bit, no huge deal just be patient. Embarassing the way some people are acting I love devs posting here about the development but it's a shame some of the whiners are ruining it
Then one of the devs should take 5mins to fill us in and not just there while they are probliy laughing at these comments and the game is probily done anyway there just polishing it up a little that why they should take 5 and fill us in
Wait, what does Survivor: Rusty Forest have to do with anything? It's a pretty poor game in its current state. Are you making a comparison by saying The Wild isn't ready for prime time yet?
Lol I'm saying the survivor is a decent alpha or beta or what ever kind of game you'd like to call it. The screens on the first pageof this forum blow them away haha Because it is a version of the wild and people can play that for now to get their Fix.
I don't think anybody's life would be greatly hindered if this game ends up "not existing". It's always the same, bunch of kids sobbing about release dates (or other dumb stuff), actively getting the devs fed up enough to stop visiting the threads altogether, and then they moan... "y cant we express ours frutrationz? is ok to b self entitled!!1! qq u oppressing us" The whiz iz ztrong in theze onez
I think that's insulting towards the devs. They know what has to be done. All because they can't keep posting for some impatient users doesn't mean there's an issue
I don't think people should hype this game up so much,It looks decent but nothing special or spectacular from those screenshots.Gameplay video could change that but like I said there's no point hyping it up so much so that you spoil it for yourself. I just hope it has good solid mechanics and right balance for version 1.
I mean last time this happened one of his relatives had passed away, and theyre usually really good about providing updates and responses to our questions and stuff, so maybe theyre all good and nothings wrong but im sure theres a legitimate reason for them backing off for a few days. Lol yeah dude i think if this game ended up not existing thatd be pretty funny. Doubt it but. If i were the devs id be like just kidding game doesnt exist... And then the next day actually release it just because
I agree and I like what you're trying to do but the message just doesn't seem to getting across to the impatient ones that would prefer a buggy game than a fully sorted release which the dev wants. Either way, after that ridiculous "joke" (what qualifies as a joke to some people just demonstrates how juvenile they are) from that guy yesterday and the continuing negativity of some of these people, time to just look away I think and wait for the release thread and support the game then.
Well the person who did the 'joke' went in timeout for a short period, if that happens again it'll be much longer Others have had warnings, if they continue to post stupid stuff or moan about 'please release a bugged early version' then they'll get warnings/timeouts Its like kids at Xmas, its quite embarassing. IF the game came out early these kids would be the first to complain when their $3 (whatever the price is) game had bugs in !! Just be patient. I'm SURE it'll be out before Xmas as you tend to get lots of new big games out by then. And like the other poster said, the last time the devs went quiet is because of a family issue. So its rude as anything when people moan about 'devs havent been here for 3 seconds...' I'm sure this will be a great game, its 'near' the end, its not like theyve just started. Some games 'just appear', but i do enjoy seeing games and the devs talk about what theyre creating. Problem is you get so many impatient 'whens it out' users.
Well if you take a look at their twitter page you would see that they are still alive and are doing well and have announced the game will launch at $3.99 about a week ago.
People gotta stop. This is getting ridiculous, they are over hyping this game a little too much. I will admit I'm pretty excited but if they don't post something in like 5 days everyone goes crazy. Give the devs some time and space, they can't fulfil every promise but I'm sure they're working like hell to get this out at the best possible state to soonest.
Devs can't always update every forum they post on. Just check their twitter fee do their website. Or the old fashioned way where you let then get on with it and they'll update when they can ! They last posted on the 27th so by my maths that's not a month or close to one
