Without me having to go through 200+ pages, are you guys accepting beta testers? I think you'd get ALOT of the bugs ironed out and get some feedback on how to improve the game If The Wild is created very well, kinda like DayZ(online and everything) I can see it being one of the best iOS games to be released. Imagine people everywhere playing The Wild, on their way to work, on the bus, at home, etc. Setting up 'camp' at places while the whole online carries on (people can rob you, kill you, etc) I dont know if this sort of stuff will be possible but it would definitely be amazing it you could do this
It's annoying, I know . But as far as I know. With IOS 8 apple also released an app called TestFlight which allows app devs to let up 1000 players play their game in beta. But you need IOS 8 to download the TestFlight app. I wish it wasn't so, I, not quite ready to go to IOS 8.
Why can't you just be patient. If the devs released it in an alpha state you may be happy but many others would moan about a game which would be an alpha version. Yet again just be patient
I have read the whole thread and they did ask for beta testers. There was plenty of volunteers for the beta test but it didn't happen because they said that the game was almost ready and due to be submitted to the appstore soon. However that didn't happen either. I was excited for the game but I have given up on it, they said the game would have been out months ago and it still hasn't released...
Agreed. 100%. The amount of negative reviews on App Store would do huge damage to the game if it was released too early or in any form of Alpha/Beta state. Patience is the key. And while I'd love to have the game right now, I would in every way prefer to have a polished, bug free experience not an Alpha/Beta rushed release. So, Toonuva, however long it takes, take it, I'm happy to patiently wait for a stand out experience that you guys are confident in releasing.
At least we haven't been waiting a lot of years for this like we have for Forgotten Memories, that's a plus and the dev is active too.
Why can't they not get frustrated? Release dates always change, it's not uncommon in this industry, it's only common sense to realise its for a reason. They can give approximate release dates but the need for more content can easily arise. The fact is they are making a game you will enjoy and you should be happy with that. The reason I made an account was to keep up to date and to ask questions about different games, not to call out developers making their own games that they are free to do what they want to. The fact is, no one is a consumer yet until the game is released, so there is no need to be cautious as you are not losing anything. I hope the Devs are doing well with their progress and hopefully we can have some more info soon. Hopefully we can see some deformed action soon?
It seems everyone is oblivious to the fact that they soft launched the survivor: rusty forest. If you're gonna sit there and complain about anything just get the hell off of this forum. Seriously the devs aren't going to feed you with a spoon and tell us EVERYTHING that's going on. If we have to wait in the dark for updates then fine who cares, at least we know the devs are constantly working very hard on this. Honestly, all of the whiners on this forums probably chased the devs away from this forum by constantly begging for a release date. (Just the ones who bitch about the devs)
I'm not going to lie, be pretty hilarious if this game didn't actually exist, just one long running joke. I wonder how many people would freak out?
