Wolf and Deer Come Out to Play As you survive on the island, you will see that THE WILD offers real emergent gameplay- that is to say, as you're playing you'll see deer get hunted by wolves, deformed stalk and hunt down the wolves. And when you are spotted this will certainly change matters. P.s also showing y'all another type of axe/hatchet, and the basic torch!

Just so you know, the diversity here is the best thing I've heard. Different types of enemies sound like it will be amazing ! The deformed, will they work in packs ? Or will they each be individual encounters ? And for the military ?
If I were to guess, I'd say that the Deformed will probably be seen solo or in "hordes" as that is usually how most zombie-like enemies act in games. If I were to make the AI, I'd have it like this. Runners are usually found solo, maybe with one or two other runners nearby. While brutes are usually only found in big groups. Then I would have just regular deformed that are in the horde with the brutes. And then fiends, usually work in groups of two, usually come out at night, and are the stealthy deformed. Kinda like the hunter from left 4 dead. That's just how I'd run the AI. And for military. I'd have them work I. Squads of 10 or less. usually found. Near military outposts or towns.(if there are any) there should be a couple different kinds of military. The standard marine with AR and pistol. The heavy marine, LMG, maybe a rocket launcher to grenades and heavier armour. The sniper/stealth guy, wears a ghillie suit, has a sniper and a machine pistol or magnum. Usually found in the sniper towers or in the forest. And the engineer. Has a portable sentry gun, a shotgun and light armour.( if there are vehicles.) He can repair vehicles and use the mounted gun(if there is one) it's would make the survival aspect of this game a lot harder. But it would help set up the game for objectives if you are planning to add any kind of objective or game ending.

I doubt the game is native res on the Air/mini2 it's probably 1024x768 with fxaa at 35+ fps. Iphone 6 is native res at 35+ fps so I doubt the iPad Air will be native coz it's still on the old A7 chip.
Because we are supporting iPhone 5 up, and not older devices, iPad Air will run at full or damn near close to full retina. iPhone 5 runs at almost 25-30 FPS steady .
I would rather have the game at 1024*768 and bump up shader effects and post processing effects,Since this is an open world game I would focus on draw distance and LOD and eliminate popin.2.5k resolution is just diminishing returns to me,Better shadowand antialiaing would add a lot more to eye candy.
Suggestions and Ideas : If the deformed are gonna hunt the animals too you should add infected deformed animals too in the future like dogs and wolves. Make 'em rare though since in an apocalypse, there won't be much animals around. I'd also love to see craftable traps for both the deformed and animals Killing and nonkilling ones Also maybe a beginning like The Forest. It'd be weird just spawning in a remote island, like how'd you get trapped there anyway. Just add maybe plane or boat crash debris or maybe both so when there's a new spawn it will either be a boat or a plane crash that is around you. Last thing I'd love to see is hidden places like caves or an abandoned shelter / nuclear shelter. Some hidden islands too Maybe some Easter eggs Keep up the great work though!
Couldn't agree more. I would prefer shiny effects and shaders over high resolution any day. ^_^ But as long as it is smooth I definitely wont complain.
