    Crossbow please .~.

Is cold and heat still a key for surviving in this game?

iPad 3rd Generation (March 16, 2012 Model) Concerns and Questions

Will the iPad 3rd Generation be able to handle the game right off the bat, or will future updates allow the iPad 3rd Generation to be supported efficiently. Here are the specs according to Apple. Link > http://support.apple.com/kb/SP647
Also, A quick reply from the developers would be extremely helpful Thank You!

P.S. I'm sorry for a repeated question but I've seen some devices you've been talking about being able to handle it and I got confused through everything everyone has said about which devices can run your amazing game "The Wild"

As long as it's not running it at native res it should eat this game for lunch. The answer should be a resounding yes.

draft v1 final gameworld with loot spawn points

    Hey y'all,

Here's a sneak peek of some of the enhancements, high quality variety of terrain and themes/clues. V1 Final draft Game-world and loot spawn areas. this is on a one of our iPhone 5 dev devices. :D

Still trying for older devices as we enhance sections of the game world experience. :)

25-35fps on iPhone 5, then 35+ on 5S and above. Same goes for iPad 4th gen at 25-35fps, then solid 35fps+ on iPad Air, iPad Mini retina.

P.S backpack icon and survival icons a good size on HUD?

Perfect size # But what am I seeing in that last pic? Is that a hut type building!!? #

Maybe have options for various size and fade of the hud?

The fog in is terrible in those pic and so are some of the ground textures,I mean I should be able to look atleast 20-25 meters ahead of me,You need to cut down on all that fog and increase lod. Also update those textures,They look a low res.
Alsiasing is also a bit distracting try Msaa. The textures need a lot more definition anistroping filtering should also be there minmum 8*.
Both anistroping filtering and msaa have minimal performance drops and have a huge impact on performance please consider them.
Textures need a lot of work,I don't know how big the file size is but if you're going for >500mb then you should definitely put better textures there.
The lightning is pretty good though.
The sky in the last pic looks awesome.

Looks good to me but please give us an option to move the hud icons around.
These icons are hard to reach on an iPad especially on an iPad Mini where you play with both hands on each side like on a handheld. I would prefer them in the lower right screen or somewhere where I can reach them with my thumb.

The hud indicators on the top left aren't to be touched, simply tap the top right back pack icon to bring down inventory/survival/crating UI to see more. :)

Both The Long Dark and The Forest have been final stage references for us as we finish. :)

I apologize if this is been asked before, but I was wondering if you would implement the new metal feature in the V2 launch or update of the game. The screenshots look amazing and I can't wait for the release info. You guys are doing great!

Pictures look fine, they evoke more atmosphere and depth than the great majority of FPS on the appstore.

And the heavy fog looks great.

I don't know if that amount of fog is intentional but it surely is game breaking for me,I'll wait for the gameplay videos. This isn't the n64 or ps1 silent hill where you need that amount of fog to run games properly.A7 and above are capable of handling stuff like oblivion so I don't see why there's soo much fog.
Turok on n64 had this level of fog,There's a limit upto which it looks decent check Alan wake or something.I should be to see 30mts ahead of me.

Is the fog not just one of the weather systems? Surely sometimes it's foggy and sometimes it's clear

Really ? So due to the 'fog' you may give this game a miss ? Seriously ? Think this is one post which shows devs shouldnt bother with preview threads, just release games when its ready instead of getting criticised over every single detail.

The fog is not game breaking for me whatsoever. Dev - keep doing what you're doing !

@Psj3809, Yeah that's the point,On the other hand say if it was something that bothered you in that case wouldn't go around telling the devs to 'stop listening' or 'ignore' you, that's an immature thing to do.

If you think they're smart enough then maybe you should let them decide based on their own experience and other community feedback what to keep and what not to.

You're not the 'only' customer or person who's buying the game,I'm looking forward to buy it myself but I wouldn't if they won't sort the fogging out.

And really? You buy every game with Icade funtionality eh?Even urban crime and stuff ? Don't you think that's just as ridiculous as I being bothered by fog eh?.;)
