Long time no see! I got a couple random ideas... What do you guys think? Are these terrible ideas or could this be possible? The first one for sure

    1. Make the main character a ginger
    2. Somehow... Make a way to use zombies against each other
    3. Later in the games development, if there is multiplayer, have a way for guns and ammo to not only be found randomely, but be crafted using natural resources through some kind of a craftable factory thing that groups of people can work to build and defend. That would be CRAZY

    Hey buddy!!

So when we introduce the soldiers in military patch, we're going to be adding the ability to throw raw meat to have wildlife attack soldiers or deformed. :)

Keep the great feedback coming! :D

So I take it since these are dev builds that they were takin from the computer right? So would putting this on mobile devices effect anything?

We're getting 35-50fps on 1gig ram devices and newer processors. :D

Since it's only two us, we're focusing on finishing up content, then work our tails off getting it on 512mb ram devices.

    Happy sunday.

YES! I will be using that a lot lol. So u can kill deformed, using weapons and other ai, u can sneak by them, you can attract them obviously, is there something you can do to deter them? Like if you pour a certain chemical on something they stay away or something. It could be anything but if there was a way to deter them i think that would be solid

I'm guessing you got that idea from Far Cry 4, which is pretty cool. Game is looking fantastic. Good Luck Toonuva!

Dev update: game world atmosphere and lighting

    Hey yall,

Clay and I will be working through the night over here in EST. The atmosphere, and day night lighting conditions have turned out to be gorgeous. We're getting great sunrises and sunsets, dark ominous night time with lots of stars, and a bright and clear mid day experience. Can't wait to showcase this and much more soon! :)

First time I looked at this topic for a week, this is what I have to say:

Firstly. When I found out the game had gone snow theme I was a bit skeptical, since the theme has gone from forest to desert and now to snow, but hey, it just takes time for my mind to accept things #

Secondly. How are you able to keep the games core elements when the entire world gets a complete makeover? I mean it wasn't long ago you guys implemented wildlife AI, but now that the world is snow doesen't this mean all the animals need to be changed? Like old animals that are desert themed need to be gotten rid of and new snow ones need to be coded?

Rocking the points of interests, after tonight it will mainly be filling out the map with trees and cliffs. :)

    Hey baxy!

We turned the bear into a polar bear and kept the elk/deer class as is. Winter just emphasizes campfire, warmth and survival mechanics as a whole. Winter map has forests too!! :D

I can't seem to figure this out: Is the game going to be all winter maps, or are the winter maps in addition to the desert and forest ones we saw earlier?

have you not listened to what the deva have been saying? It's in the theme of biomes likes minecraft kinda. It's in a desert like tundra so there is snow, forest areas, and sand areas.
