The devs confirmed it? I hope not. I'm really hyped for this game and it would suck if I couldn't play it.
Are you still having a beta? Because if you're planning on releasing in the next two/three weeks or so, you'd better hurry with the beta!
We'll have a small beta. things are coming together. most importantly we've made sure The Wild is unique, and something we'd be proud of not being seen as merely a clone of something else. The plan is in place, it's been outlined in a previous post. Happy week to you both. -Daniel
How do you get into the beta? I've been following this game since June 2nd and i have read every page and every post. I am so excited and would love to be a beta tester.
What device requirements are needed? Ios 7 or lower? Is iphone 4S and ipad mini 1st gen supported? Thanks.
Optimized for the Iphone 5, and they've worked down from there. I beleive the minimum is 512 mb. Devices. That includes the 4s, Touch 5G and the original Ipad mini.
That's right! Starting with iphone 5 as key benchmark then working down in terms of levels of optimization.

Yep, just uploaded another gameplay video showcasing predator vs prey (ie bear chasing deer). Today we're completely finishing the predator vs prey, have the deer sprint away when you get close, have bear chase and attack you if you get too close and have bear chase and kill deer. After today we're moving right into player survival- deeping the experience with hunger, thrust, fatigue and cold meters rocking, ie next week you'll see full combat. -Daniel
The animations look awesome! BTW was the axe he was holding crafted? I noticed that it had part of the handle sticking through the head of the axe. Keep up the good work!
