Now I'm super excited! Can't wait btw have you guys seen your other competitors? They are making a 3rd person survival game its called Barren roads(http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=237821), they have gameplay footage and that was the only thing that got me more hooked to their game, but now you guys will have footage so my interest will be neutral. I looked at it, and I can say it may have potential, but it looks so jank. Granted its alpha, but The Wild for me is a unique IP and has me way mote excited, and The Wild doesn't have gameplay footage. This game is selling itself as a clone, that will draw some people, but they wont stay. You see all the crap goat simulator clones, they were awesome for a wgile on the appstore, now noone cares. The Wild granted takes inspiration from the likes of Rust and The Forest, but it doesnt seem Toonuva wants to clone it. But hopefull Barren Roads can be unique, and something you would play alongside The Wild, not over it.
dev update: wildlife for v1 So we've got the bear and elk running around, we'll have em wrapped up tomorrow. Can't wait to add sound fx and showcase this piece of the product. -Daniel p.s then we're off to finalize GUI/Survival, World , then Deformed.
Yes! When this comes out my goal is to be the first to 360 no-scope a deformed! Can't wait for the gameplay footage.
Though weve refined and fine tuned the firearms selection, we have an assortment that we believe bring about great gameplay! So while it's unlikely to see the Mauser, it's highly likely to see a modern hunting rifle, pistol, revolver, and shotgun. Ps we're finalizing the grizzly bear, deer and new surprise wildlife model and ai today!!
Will we be able to put on clothes? # as in find a jacket or sweater and use that as a slight increase in armor, or do we just play with what we spawn with........ For the sake of multiplayer purpose and identifying friends xD
Android This has been on my mind for a while. And just recently I got an android phone. Will this game ever go on android? I'll still play it cause I have an Ipod touch 5th gen. But it would be great to have it on android too.
