Hey so I've been playing for quite a bit now and it's pretty good! I'll just start by listing a couple tweaks 1. I find that it's a bit annoying having to watch the costumes scroll and wait for the story to to show up every time you want to retry a level. Considering it's a fast paced game I think a "Quick retry" button would be a welcome addition. 2. It's a bit confusing to know what you gather. One level collecting a big Heart will make a guy happy, while on another level a toy plane will make him happy. Other than that things are pretty good for now, haven't found any bugs. I like the story elements and the character models. I'll be back soon
Alright I'm back. 1 issue and 1 bug First, I find that I often get spawned right behind a wall so when I start I end up just hitting it straight away with no chance to move out of the way. I found a bug where the game just says still if you hit "play on" when you have no second winds, then if you say "No" when it asks if you want to buy some.

Hey Bleau! I actually just finished the first level pack, I had taken a break to put up Christmas lights and eat some lunch (; Haha my heart was actually pounding on that last mission, I was really getting into the story! But after completing the mission I found some text was cut off. Well I'm gonna go start on the next level pack! SPOILER ALERT. WARNING.
Oh man, so sorry about that. I initially put random starting positions to randomize the level experience and as you can see I goofed some up. As for the text, I only managed to test on iPad. Will adjust for the other devices as well. We will only start setting up the lights later next week but we do have an advent calendar( me and wifey) Hope you like the rest of the stories too. Though you might get more cut text on some. Just pm me the levels and I'll send you the whole story text so you don't miss out on anything
Lvl 19 Got this big by collecting the last piece needed to wake that guy up which was right in front of him (only 1 square between him and it). What I did was I switched lanes (coming from left to right) directly onto the piece in front of him, so my guy automatically changed directions to moving towards him, and I ended up with this
Hey JCho133, we are working on the bugs and some of the stuff we discovered. Regarding the previous question about the objects and the people: the objects are not specific to a person. The more you collect, the more people you are able to make happy. Some require that you collect 1, others need 6. The screenshots and you describing the situation really help a lot. P.S. News from the front lines Hi everyone, Sorry for the lack of messages last week. After releasing the test build, we doubled down on all your feedback, plus improvements, visual and audio feedback and trying to polish as much as we can. We are submitting a smaller build tomorrow. By small we mean 5 stories instead of 10. The other 10 will come out in an update. We managed to finish the official game icon. We were thinking with each update or with each set of new stories we can change the secondary characters in the background. Let us know what you think! So what have we been working on? Let's see: achievements, pushes, some effects and animations, tightening the controls, removing bugs and anything that might ruin the experience, optimizing for both iPhone and iPad and... drumroll... an extra story starring William's sidekick, Dexter Darrington. What is so special about this extra story? Well, let's just say this is a hardcore story. It is not about time traveling, mereley Dex's appetite for women and attitude before William jumped in time. These levels are tough and the leaderboard will show hardcore level. However, this story can only be unlocked with a 0.99 purchase. We will try and put some game-play video with the Dexter levels. Also, since Dexter's story is about chasing after sexy female scientists and women in the facility, all the characters be women . Last but not least, we have been tinkering with the scoring and points for each level. There are multiple factors that account for your final score in the game: how many objects you collect (you usually can make all people happy without collecting all objects), how many blue pills you collect (that add to the happy person score multiplier), if you finish the level without dying and how fast you can do this. Two interesting factors that will greatly affect your scores: - No death vs. time: if you do not die on a level, you get a big bonus. However, that bonus is affected by time. So you get a bigger score if you finish in 20 seconds versus 50 seconds. - Happy people vs time: Basically, this bonus is higher if you finish the game faster. - Streak bonus. We added a scoring mechanic similar to bowling. For example, if you do not die in the first 3 levels, you have a 3 win streak. Because of that, on the 4th level, you will get additional points added to your score based on a percentage from the other 3. This bonus only applies to your last 3 levels. That being said, it's back to work for us. When we submit to Apple, we will also send out the build so you can play it before the others
After this release, we'll have a January update with the rest of the stories + more effects, polishing and features. After that, we start on user stories
