I don't remember the first one, but I took the same one for the 2nd and I took the other one for the 3rd. Maybe Tia is the difference. Can she damage Duran?
nope. his outburst far too strong for my tia/ ellion/ luke to even break the barrier. occasionally tia will do a bit of damage ranging from 1 to 50. but thats the most it goes.
Is there ipod music support yet? The music in this game is pretty decent, but I'd rather listen to something else after a few hrs =/
Anyone? I still can't beat this SOB. Edit - Holy shit I beat him!! Had to abuse the quick save and load function to hell and back but who cares I beat him... and only got three pages of text. Kinda anticlimatic if you ask me.
Has anybody some hints for stage 28 (dimming candles)? the battle is very frustrating with this outburst gear in the end. is this power limited / gone after some turns?
Why there are many slots to save game? How do you delete saved games? How do you defeat Ellion in stage 7?
- There are a few places where the story will branch onto multiple routes, depending on your answer or performance. So maybe save before, and after? - Why delete? Just save over. - I can't remember specifically that level, but I have finished the game. For bosses, I usually like using my lead characters, preferably with good dodge. Make use of your skills and stat boosts.
just finished this game right his moment lol luckily i did a quick save just before so i can get both endings not to play to the second one! and fight!
If you have Ascard on your side, let him fight the last boss That's what I did. I just went far away to collect will, and let Ascard fight.
Figured it out. Thnx anyways . *********Spoiler*********** I could beat the bad guy no problem. It was as add I couldn't beat but after he beat Tia it showed me the other ending so there was no way to beat him it seems.
I beat the game just now. Definitely the best game and the most satisfying purchase I ever made on ipod. Will spend more time on it again to see other endings. . . Everybody should get this. Its a must!
I beat the game and got an ending I was happy with. Granted that there were some questions unanswered, it was a good 39 levels of fun. I thought I read somewhere that there was a new game + mode. It would be nice to start over with something carrying over.
So, now that the initial hype has died - what's the verdict? How does it compare to the Shining Force?

Its on sale right now! Just buy it. You wont regret. I bought this game at full price long time ago. Still playing it. Definitely the best game on my device. It needs more fame, and should be priced higher.
