Wow, I spent the weekend wishing I could play this game. Crashes right after I hit New Game. Panic logs look like this: Code: Incident Identifier: 4927636C-E25D-48DD-A9F5-CE6D9EE6BFBD CrashReporter Key: ff7f49fe6e67de821df9c50059d3d83d90e0959c Hardware Model: iPod2,1 Date/Time: 2010-08-01 15:21:14.092 -0700 OS Version: iPhone OS 4.0 (8A293) panic(cpu 0 caller 0x80086017): "vnode table is full\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1504.50.73/bsd/vfs/vfs_subr.c:3565 Debugger message: panic OS version: 8A293 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 10.3.1: Wed May 26 22:16:56 PDT 2010; root:xnu-1504.50.73~2/RELEASE_ARM_S5L8720X iBoot version: iBoot-889.24 secure boot?: YES Paniclog version: 1 Epoch Time: sec usec Boot : 0x4c55e8f2 0x00000000 Sleep : 0x4c55eb6c 0x000503f4 Wake : 0x4c55ec7f 0x00000019 Calendar: 0x4c55f133 0x0008e994 Task 0x80978d3c: 2992 pages, 67 threads: pid 0: kernel_task Task 0x80978b58: 170 pages, 3 threads: pid 1: launchd Task 0x809781e4: 114 pages, 4 threads: pid 14: syslogd Task 0x83a81b58: 465 pages, 3 threads: pid 18: lockdownd Task 0x83a81790: 897 pages, 23 threads: pid 20: mediaserverd Task 0x83a815ac: 228 pages, 4 threads: pid 21: mDNSResponder Task 0x83a811e4: 335 pages, 1 threads: pid 23: fairplayd.N72 Task 0x83a81000: 517 pages, 3 threads: pid 24: dataaccessd Task 0x83936d3c: 517 pages, 13 threads: pid 25: configd Task 0x83936b58: 204 pages, 3 threads: pid 26: accessoryd Task 0x83936974: 4087 pages, 14 threads: pid 27: SpringBoard Task 0x839361e4: 294 pages, 6 threads: pid 31: CommCenter Task 0x83936000: 232 pages, 4 threads: pid 32: BTServer Task 0x80978974: 100 pages, 2 threads: pid 33: notifyd Task 0x809785ac: 234 pages, 2 threads: pid 47: apsd Task 0x80978790: 220 pages, 2 threads: pid 50: lsd Task 0x8410fb58: 3237 pages, 6 threads: pid 72: Eustrath Task 0x83a81974: 449 pages, 2 threads: pid 73: amfid
Sadly, the iPod Touch 2nd Gen/iOS 4 configuration has proven to be the least stable. Some people have managed to make it work, but the developer has recommended an upgrade to 4.01 -- which doesn't exist on the iPod Touch. Basically, you're running out of memory ver, very quickly. That said, it seems that it has worked for some people.
For the Developers Any chance of adding in a in-depth tutorial explanining everything in text format. I am still confused on how some elements of this game works. Also, could there be like a small arena or random encounter feature that function outside of the story so you could have quick matches or grind for experience? For the fans: Does the story get any better? I am only on scene 8 but I pretty much hate every character in the game. I mean their attempts at humor are mean spirited to downright wrong. Much dialogue is used for despicable chatter while they could be adding immersion and explaining about the affairs between the two countries.
Let me answer your question 2 ways: 1) "better" is a matter of perspective here. I would see dialogue that focused on "adding immersion and explaining about the affairs between the two countries" as worse -- kind of like those interminable exchanges in Star Wars Episode I. I preferred the insults in the Empire Strikes Back (pretty much every exchange between Han and Leia is an insult until they end up hooking up). That said, there's no question that the conflict between Tia and Sarah could be dialed back (they're the only two who really insult each other). 2) Nevertheless, the story does get "better" (in your sense of the word). The mythology and background gets deeper and Tia mellows out as she starts to understand her role in the larger story. More characters are introduced, which also changes the dynamic.
wait til you play thorugh level 7. the guy at the end of all the minions is like level 40 or something.
Good to know that the story will develop more to my liking later on. Tia and Sarah are just so annoying though. Yes, quick insults do add "realism" persay when they one liners and actually amusing but when the bickering is so one-sided and constant, it makes day timer soap-operas seem deep and compelling.
Well that's just dandy. I had enough trouble trying to take down Millia and her Phalarinx (I think that's how you spell it). Managed to take her down when it looked like I had lost (Luke was the only one left standing) with a lucky hit from Luke (30% chance to hit).
Well I haven't started the mission yet, but I'll see. Been playing Fire Emblem more lately, so progress on this game has been kinda slow.
There are 50 total, but there are a few that are alternates depending on which path you take a certain "crossroads."
