You're pretty close to what I was at for the battle, maybe even a bit stronger in most areas. I had about 4500 HP, 100 Armor, Energy and Barrier were about the same. I think the big thing that helped me was liberal use of "Evade" and the elude skill (you get it back after the first or second kill if you use the Aptitude skill for more XP)... Keeping their hit chance under 30% was important to survive. So I suppose there is a small element of luck there- if they keep hitting you even when the odds are against it, not much you can do Good luck! Let us know if you make it
Kill all the enemies, then charge at him with your squad with everybody but Huben Draknir. Use the Elude skill for Rhimstol every time, and Yughelle should be able to take a hit before going down. Position him two squares away so he can use his Quaker skill with Aim, Strength, and Fortify (hope that it hits). Tianerx can probably use Lightning Blade and Elude plus other buffs like Strength if it has them. Once every member of your squad BUT Huben Draknir is down, use his Burning Blade to take down Fraghion. Use all his buffs and any abilities if you have them. Once Fraghion's down to around half health, he'll retreat and you'll win.
Thanks! In my attempt to do that I ended up winning by only doing about 500 damage. I lured him and his knights into the Deep Water of the lake. Since Yughelle and Draknir do poorly in water I kept them on the coast and intercepted Fraghion with Tianerx and Rhimstol. They did very little damage but with the field effecting Fraghion I used Evade + Elude to escape his attacks. After 3 failed attempts at hitting them he just gave up Not the kind of win I like but I'll take it!
There are probably some iPad videos, which are essentially the same as this version. Just search on YouTube and you can find some.
I like how different characters have different fight tracks (Sarah's is more upbeat and 'happy', and Harvey's is more heavy and...manly?), although the fight tracks themselves seem a bit over-compressed, it's a little odd compared to the background music and sound effects, which sound fine. Edit: Oh, just got my first crash at mission 4. That autosave is indeed very useful.
Wow..... just beat the 12th mission and still enjoying the game!!!! EPIC WIN FOR IPHONE!!! Gotta show off this game to my friends at school!!!
I've notice something. This is one of the few strategy rpg's in which the turn order is determined by stats. Most srpg's have your team moves enemy team moves repeat.
Stuck at Stage 7 for 2 days ... tried mountains tactics .. lost .. tried quickload .. don't really understand why quickload will help but nevertheless, lost again .. mister red gear doesn't go away after 2 successful hits .. I hit him 800 damage .. he hit me 3k damage .. every round do nothing but heal .. heal .. heal .. tia and sarah, can't scratch him ..
I don't remember what exactly stage 7 was but quick load helps a lot because if you die, you can load back to the exact part of the stage that you saved at, so it saves a lot of time. For example, if you attack with Blue Wing but you desperately need the enemy's attack to miss, you can keep trying that part until it goes your way.
I beat the same stage just a few minutes ago. Take care of the rank and file first, making sure that Tia and Sara get a good amount of action so they level up. Make sure to evade when red is attacking -- you usually do more damage when you're the one attacking. You should be able to take him down, even if it involves sacrificing some of your GEAR to weaken him.
ive been playing this and I'm a little confused at how we do our moves. Sometimes I'll move the girl robot (on mission 2) and then it's immediately the opponent's turn...then i only get to move the main blue guy and the earth guy...then computer then only girl...etc. It doesnt seem like I even get to choose who i want to move first....is this right? It's one of the few TBS games i've played, so I'm a bit confused on the order and so on....an explanation would be nice
The bar on the left is the order that turns are taken. It's all based on your stats (so slow units like the earth type have longer waits) Another thing that effects that is what you do during your turn. If all you do is wait then your turn next turn happens faster than if you move and attack
Well, you only get to move one at a time. But in regards to who goes first, I don't know how that works either. There is a list showing who is going next, so that helps a bit, but I'm not sure what decided that list. I think it depends on what action the GEAR takes on his/her turn.
A part of me is hesitant because its an obvious SRW/Gundam Generation knock off, however another part of me loved those type of games and wanted to try. I guess I will wait for more impressions. Of course with only original design mechs the nostalgia factor isn't really there.
