Bool Zero Well-Known Member Dec 14, 2010 1,922 0 36 #16 Bool Zero, Nov 30, 2012 Okay so after a few minutes if play and exploring it, I have to say I like what I have played so far! Double tap to move, tap to attack so it feels like a dungeon crawler in some respects! It has sizable stages to explore, and it very much stays within the feel and tone of the comics! There are leader boards and 57 Achievements, and you can upgrade several aspects of your characters so it refers some replayability there! The game seems to have two more episodes planned apparently judging from the comic cover the render for the next two episodes. If you are a reader, you can have a good guess as to what those episodes will cover which as a fan myself, seems pretty exciting if they do a good job! I can imagine how it can get pretty frantic if I had to control more characters on the screen with more walkers to deal with. All in all, not a bad spend for 2 bits! I will definitely be buying the episodes just based off my initial impressions! My only qualm would be the loading times. Other than that it is a great looking game and it plays pretty fun as well! I'd give it a high recommend for fans and recommend if you are a fan of this type of genre of game it attempts (party based, dungeon crawl of sorts with open areas). Gameplay is a bit barebones, (although I have only played the very first level so far) think this would have been more justified at the $.99 price point, especially considering it looks like additional chapters must be purchased. boodro82 Well-Known Member Nov 28, 2012 57 0 0 #19 boodro82, Nov 30, 2012 Glad to see some positive impressions. Love the comics so may grab this. How is this set up? Are you given missions to complete? I read in the description that there is a timer...is there a time limit to complete tasks or is it for bonuses? Tropxe Well-Known Member Sep 17, 2012 59 0 0 England #20 Tropxe, Nov 30, 2012 Last edited: Nov 30, 2012 Is this actually official or just a typical barefaced rip-off from China? Seems odd that Kirkman didn't mention it at all in the comics, like he did repeatedly with the Telltale game. It also just looks incredibly cheap... It doesn't even use the Walking Dead logo. Edit: Well it is on the Skybound site, so I guess it is official. Still looks incredibly cheap and rushed. http://www.skybound.com/ (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
