Nope. My friend who has iphone 4S definitely has a stutter problem during the action sequence and during cutscene.

Yes...just as the console versions have issues with framerate. Xbox has even worse issues than my iPad 3, actually. Give it a break.

What does Xbox hardware problem has anything to do with this?

And what framerate problem on console versions?

My point is that telltale games have issues on most of the platforms they re released on.

And yes, there are huge framerate problems with the console versions. A was the one knock IGN had against episode 3, in fact.

Out of curiosity, what size is the app after episode is downloaded?
I haven't got it yet, but now that season 3 is back on tv, I'm considering it.

With the three current episodes downloaded, the app currently uses 1.3 GB of space on my iPad 2. I'd guess that each episode is about 450 MB, so the app will be north of 2 GB by the time all of the episodes are available (if you download them all, obviously).

Each episode is roughly 500mb large. You can delete individual ones and keep your save, though.

And I would recommend this game, especially this episode in a heartbeat. If you haven't played these games you have cheated yourself out of just a fantastic and very emotional experience.

Trolls will be trolls. Carry on.

    @Czar and JB.
Cool, thanks for that info guys.
Off to the App Store I go.

I wonder what they'll do with episode 5 though, as Apple has a maximum limit of 2gb per app.

Tell that to Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, which will be about 3GB... Even if they somehow got special treatment wit BGEE I don't think the limit counts toward IAP added in. The base app doesn't exceed 2GB, and besides, thinking about it, I have several apps that break that 2GB barrier when uncompressed (TWEWY comes to mind as of recent being 2.3GB)...

Must be in reference to the base app then, cause that's some pretty big installs there.
The 2gb is still the stated max on the iOS SDK but that thing has led me astray many times.
It must not apply to added iap but the SDK doesn't strictly say one way or another.
I'll have to put in a request for clarity just out of curiosity.

This is bullshit. I paid for all the episodes upfront. I did that so I could always guarantee that when an episode comes out, Ive got it. Meanwhile I'm sitting here looking at an "Episode 3: The Long Road Ahead - Coming soon" screen, nearly a full 2 days after the episode is released. Not impressed, TellTale, not at all.

    Tips:

    • Update your iOS. The current operating system can effect how in-app downloads work.
    • Reboot your iDevice.
    • If that fails, take the plunge and reinstall the app. It's tedious, but you can probably spare 4 hours. Making new choices was interesting when I upgraded from an iPod Touch 4th Gen to an iPhone 5, for example.

Phew, just finished episode 3. I thought Ep3 was longer than the previous two. A lot of things change in this episode. I can't wait for episode 4.:)
