The game has a different protag and plot. There are cameo appearances by some characters(Hershel) from the tv series/graphic novels though (1 or 2 of them so far?) I think the way they are characterized in the game fully mirrors their personality in the graphic novel... I dunno if you will consider that a spoiler! Disclaimer: I only read the graphic novels and played episode 1 of the game on PC. I have been told the TV series is a very loyal adaptation of the graphic novel though.
From what i read it doesnt feature anyone from the show, its like an episode set in another town far away. As zombies are all over the country its a story about another guy trying to defend himself. Dont think it'll contain any spoilers for the TV show
Thanks. Forgot about those videos existing! Have the PC version, just been a little too afraid to play them before getting season 1 under my belt. That said, I'll be getting that done this coming weekend. So it's all good. Instabuy in the morning assuming iPad 2 performance is up to scratch. Otherwise I'll be sticking to PC.
It doesn't fit in season one really, the game is its own thing and not to spoil it but you meet two character from the show and comic but you won't know who they are unless you read or watch the walkin dead but it won't spoil anything. I'f anything it gives you more of a background to them. Hope this helps ha
I tried the demo on Xbox 360 and enjoyed it, but I'm torn on whether to buy this version or that version. Of course if this version doesn't play as well then my decision is made for me, so I'll be anxious to see impressions.
No 3GS support Ah well, I already have it on PSN, so no big loss. Great game, though. And of course, the most amazing TV series on right now. That's fact, not opinion.
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel That's how an Port should be... No Lags No Slow Downs No Crashes No Strange Soundbugs Comparing this with the Shit that Telltale Games sold us with Jurassic Park you would assume that those two Games are from different Companies. Obviously it did help that Telltale Games didn`t created a Trailer full of Lies this Time and did instead put the Manpower where it belongs... Grab it. It`s totally worth it and I can finally say that a Telltale Games Release is worth it.
I don't think the episodes are supposed to be that long, but I don't know the length. Does the game have more than one save? I might want to replay the episode making different choices, but not if it would wipe out my existing game.
Played through the first episode on the PS3 and it took less than three hours, However, it was a blast and I plan on buying this tonight.
So it takes about 3 hours-ish? I really want it because I've heard good things about this and the show (I've yet to watch it) but man that file size, uncompressed, is scary. I already don't have enough room. And I'm curious how things will "carry over" to next eps.
