Because then the app itself would have to be updated with the new content, and the IAP would just be to "unlock" it...and that just means extra downloading/taking up space on devices of people who either don't want the new episodes or want to delete a certain episode to make more space. That said...godamn I feel like breaking someone's head over a glass table. Still having issues downloading. Screw it...I'll try after 11pm when I get free downloading. Something tells me I'm gonna be up until 7am trying over and over again. >_>
Dude, you're missing out a lot.....just kidding You will download it eventually. You know, they should have let us (season pass buyers) download the episodes a day or two before they are available to the whole world.
hell yeah..episode 2 rocks! especially when you're using an ipod toch 4g..the suspense, the lag..ohhh i'm lovin' this more and more!

That happened to me, but after one retry it worked. The wait was worth it! Tis episode is way better than episode 1!
If all else fails, I'll just play it on PC. I'll still hate myself for waiting this long after downloading for nothing. >_>
I can't get past 3.00% before it says connection lost, been trying all day. It's also impossible to leave a review right now on the app store. They know it's all messed up and they don't want people leaving bad reviews but they have no problem taking your $ knowing you can't download. The game needs to be pulled until the issues are fixed because there are already enough pissed off people and no need to add more. I think the whole situation is a bit shady.
I wasn't able to download the entire game until after my fourth attempt last night after resetting my iPad.
Yeah that sucks. Is it the same as the PC version, story wise and such? Anyway, I just finished episode two. It's like watching a 3+ hours of movie With each episode, this game is getting more exciting/interesting and surprising
Yessir, exactly the same...even the horrible downloads. iOS version actually got to 30% for the first time before crapping out. :/ Like I said earlier....got a feeling I'm not gonna get any sleep tonight.
Sick of trying to download this, ive tried about 20 times, sometimes getting to 80% before losing connection. Ive given up now.
Sorry to hear that Send them ( the devs) a complaint and hopefully they fix it soon. At least, it's not only the IOS users who are struggling with this. I wish they had a separate servers, for ios and PC users knowing Teltale are a big company
After setting up my alarm to wake me up every half an hour, it's 5:50 am...and still nothing. I'm done trying. My screen's been on since 11:00 pm...screw that. I'm going to see my girlfriend abroad in about a month...if I'm staying at the same hotel I usually do, I'll try downloading it there. If that doesn't work...**** it, time to fight for a refund. At least just for the season pass. Oh, and if Telltale decide to stick with this new in-game download system (unlike JP, BttF, Monkey Island, Sam and Max, etc), I'm done supporting them...at least with digital downloads. :/
