One thing I will say for it — I’m not bored. The historical setting is unique, and there’s enough story and variety to the action to keep me interested. The visuals are dated but not terrible. Combat draws from the Dark Souls mode but nowhere near as difficult. There’s a fair amount of depth here, with different skills and abilities that can be upgraded, multiple pieces of armor, both blades and early firearms, plus crafting etc. This is not a new game by the way, but it seems that it got a major upgrade about a year ago. So far I’m intrigued enough to keep playing. Skall likes this.
