Pac Man was invented by Toru Iwatani, Mario by Shigeru Miyamoto. Surely they could not be more American, no?
Where does it get up to 112 in CA? Oh, you must be a southerner. As American as the iPhone and iPod Touch...
Q*Bert is awesome, even more awesome when played outside in the wind and rain! no fear either of ma game of Q*Bert being interrupted by a freak earthquake or tornado
Them Iphones and Ipod Touches being assembled in China? And the warmest it gets out here in CA where I live is like 98. And I live in SF too, albie.
They're assembled in China. It was my attempt at sarcasm since nothing is really "American" when it comes to products. So you can vouch for the "warm" SF weather today which I'm guessing is a blistery 63 degrees.
Haha I used to live there. Now I live in Foster City (close to SF too); the weather in the bay area is pretty much all the same... good weather I for one LIKE where I live
Burlingame and Foster City? Yep, I'm down there all the time. I used to work in Burlingame and I have a friend who lives in Foster City...the burbs of San Fran
I used to live in Santa Cruz. Other than the weather, the thing I miss most about the bay area is Original Joe's ravioli.
That's funny...they're not fashion. Fashion Island is a boulevard, and Akamai develops optical and digital communications.
Bit late to the party on this but still; I moved to the USA a few years back and whilst some things are better, you'll probably miss everything you mentioned. More important than education, health, and the weather, is bacon. Good luck hunting proper back bacon, and when you do find it be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for it. That is what the USA gets screwed over. Bacon.
Grass is always greener on the other side. You two sit there in america and britain complaining about stuff while i am stuck here in india downloading apps using a crappy internet connection. We don't even have the option of buying games like metal gear solid touch because it's missing from the indian itunes store!!
Slight you may have made? You've not seen the news for what... 20 years then? Karma. And about damn time.
Well said, my friend, well said... As a Zimbabwean now living in England, I don't take anything for granted here. The fact that I'm now living in a country that is actually a democracy is astounding to me in itself. Everything else is a bonus! Although I do miss the weather... Maybe I'll move to Spain one day, as my wife is Spanish.
