Looks a pretty amazing game Truncana Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2013 623 91 28 #8 Truncana, Sep 10, 2020 Is it a first person exploration game? Are there some rpg elements such as armors, helmets, weapons, skill points? anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,121 695 113 #9 anthony78, Sep 10, 2020 It’s been years since I’ve played it but it’s an exploration/puzzle game. No RPG elements. Truncana likes this. I need to know how to save the game! I put about half an hour into it last night, it’s slow but interesting so far but I quit the game back to the menu (after what I would have thought were a fair few logical points where the game might have autosaved), and I’ve had to start right back at the beginning of a new game. There was no warning when I quit that I might lose progress which I found a bit annoying, I’ve looked online and there’s the odd question asked about saving the PlayStation version but nobody’s answered. im reluctant to start it again until I know how to save though. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #12 metalcasket, Sep 11, 2020 It saves at the beginning of every “Part”. Once you’re done with the first one, the main menu gets updated with a “Chapters” sub-menu that shows you both the parts and chapters in the game...obviously handy for tracking progress. But yeah, you’ll know when you ready a new “Part” (enough with the damn quotation marks, man. ) because the game flat out states it when you reach one. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #13 orangecan, Sep 11, 2020 Ah thank you very much! I obviously didn’t quite get to that point, I must have got very close which is annoying metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Sep 11, 2020 Haha, don’t mention it. Yeah, my first launch of the game was similar. I reached the courtyard/crown fountain area and killed the app only to find myself starting right from the beginning upon second launch. Obviously not a lot of progress was made, but that turned out to be a blessing. Great, memorable, emotional experience. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #16 orangecan, Sep 11, 2020 I’ve gone back to it and I quit it about a minute away from the end of the chapter! I have to admit I was slightly on the fence with it at first but I’m utterly absorbed it in now. Stunning stuff. I was expecting ‘A monsters expedition’ to be this weeks winner for me but I’m finding that slightly underwhelming despite despite the great reviews it’s getting. metalwastebasket likes this. metalwastebasket Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2017 161 55 28 #17 metalwastebasket, Sep 14, 2020 TA's own Mikhail has confirmed the game does have controller support. andsoitgoes likes this. andsoitgoes Well-Known Member Jun 30, 2010 2,673 58 48 In a van, down by the river! #18 andsoitgoes, Sep 25, 2020 thank you for this!
