New update No new quests, just ability to add friends My name is "well1900" if anybody interested to add
Any suggestions for this game never getting past the Loading screen. As soon as it gets to 81% it quits back to the home screen... I'm using an iPad 3
Anyone notice that the islands are no longer showing food/gold ready? Nor since the "fb" update do I get notices that items need to be collected/harvested. I love that they "fix" a bug and replace it with 4 more.
I have not had this happen. I use an ipad2. A while back someone suggested that to keep the game running smoothly, we need to completely power down the iPad. So I have been doing that about once a month. Hold down the on off button until the iPad shuts down. They also suggested to make a backup every few weeks. Maybe one of these will help you.
candles for 17 days I have been looking for wax and chain to make candles I had 20% chance of finding stuff quicker, does not seem to have worked. For last week just need 1 of each,if I wanted to buy would still cost 30 gems even though done 80% of work,so should be 80% cheaper. Need lots of sand to cut marble and build bridge, think quests for tools for sand pitswill not come until other quests done
Stonehenge Can anyone tell me how many phases to Stonehenge (level 1) there are? I'm thiiiiiisssss close to ditching the whole game, honestly, but Stonehenge keeps me hanging on because I have a twisted idea that I can move on to more interesting things at some point. But every time I build I get another phase. And another. And another. Help?
There seems to be a code error in the game. I am on Big Bath House build, on the Atoll Island, and completed 20 phases. It just keeps showing another phase build. I sent Game Insight a trouble ticket describing the problem. I recommend doing the same. Interestingly, this started around the same time as the last game update. The one adding multi player capabilities.
Each major build I've done has tiny little counters above it (most) showing 5 little dots filling up after I complete a phase of the build. If your just now doing the Stonehenge build, you have months of entertainment in front of you. This game is about patience and building everything when you can. I'm level 47 on the Atoll and haven't spent a dime yet but I've been playing for months. Usually about 10 minutes in the morning before work and at minimum 10 minutes at night collecting and then reassigning builds. Sometimes I can spend an hour or more at one time. It's a long slow process but that to me is better than a game you beat in less then a week.
That is what I'm afraid of. I have done 20 phases, the little dots are all filled up/solid (there are probably 20 dots too), and its showing more builds. I really think something might be wrong. I mean, honestly, 20 phases, 8 hours each, requiring a ton of cut stone that takes awhile to accumulate and means I can't use it to upgrade my mansions... I agree the game is about slow progress and patience but it also needs to be fun and interesting, otherwise why bother? I can't afford land b/c at the rate I acquire coins - playing about 3x a day - it takes weeks on end, maybe even a month, of just tapping houses, ordering deals, and waiting. Just to be able to have enough coins to buy one measly piece of land that has one 'task' on it. I repeatedly search the airplane or cave for lame rewards that take forever. I have really been hoping the game might get more fun but if it takes a month of tapping houses and ordering deals - the exact same stuff every single day - just to have one interesting thing show up, I'm out. I have better things to do with my time, and certainly more rewarding games to play. I am really just hoping that the progress is temporarily slow and gets better, but its kind of sounding like it doesn't.
20 Phase Builds - Not Normal A recent upgrade seems to have changed the phase builds for most, and possibly, all the major structures (Big Bath House, Stonehenge, etc.). I've had a 20 phase build with the BBH, and according to the Tribez Wiki, this should of been a 5 phase build at 8 hours for each phase. Something isn't working correctly... If you're running into this problem I highly recommend sending Game Insight a trouble ticket (use the link in the game). I've submitted one and did receive an auto reply about them checking into it...but I'm betting this issue will get faster attention with more tickets submitted by different players. In the meantime, build lots of theaters and have them use 6 hour builds for $9500 gold...build 50 of them (if your on Atoll you have multiple islands to build on) and schedule and collect twice a day or more and you'll collect about a million dollars a day. Better than endless phases...and build up your supplies. You can build more theaters on Ancestors, Marble, and Mystery islands than on Atoll. Peidmont also allows for more theaters.
I currently just started searching for items for the light house on the Atoll and was wondering about space for building. I've been only building as quest requires b/c I thought I read somewhere about being careful due to the lack of building room. Should this be a concern on the Atoll (or any other island?)
Initially build only what is required ... Once you have the lighthouse island, you can add 6 theaters. As an example, I have 2 baths, 1 bar, 4 sweet shops, 7 theaters, 3 Dino's, 2 farm plots, 1 farm, and 40 villagers. The most useful building is the zeppelin harbor, build it when you buy the alien statue / arch atoll, and build 3 Zeppelins. Fly in as many of the supplies as you need from other islands. The beauty of the theaters is they are unlimited - build as many as you want ... Can be built on any island... And by using 2 villagers for 6 hours, they generate 9500 gold. This is more efficient than all of the other buildings - you don't tie up villagers to generate gold like a hotel does. As an example, 4 villagers on 2 theaters for 6 hours generates 19000 gold whereas 4 villagers for 6 hours on one hotel generate 14000 gold. Best place to build multiple theaters (15 or more) is first island and Marble.
Introduction I found this thread and I'm getting caught up - reading from the beginning. I'm currently at level 28 with Stonehedge finished, yet still have one more quest associated with that left to do. I have Marble Fiord open and making good progress. This may have already been shared...remember, I'm catching up... for those who get to the 2nd island and can't find food...use the Zeppelin from the 1st island to take food there! Initially I'd send a Zeppelin with 200-300 units of food. That made a huge difference. Now accumulating coins to get to the plane crash site on the 1st island and to the ship on the 2nd island.
