double time With having lumber mill from big fair I used it. Every time I did time doubled to producing goods, then went from 8 hours to 24, then from 24 to 48 hours for same amount of goods. Not know if will do this with other big fair buildings but if does not really very help full GI must be laughing their heads off at idiots like me who bought the buildings
finished the wax and silver beads.... now what hey.. anyone know what is supposed to happen next? I finally completed the wax and silver beads..now it says the way is open.. I have a quest that says Visit Piendmont lands.. and when you click an arrow point to a location in the mist... SO, how do I actually get there? all of my quests require that I use Marble or Sand. both of which I cannot produce on the Ancient Island. What do I do now? In fact I can't visit any of the other islands. I have the zeppelin harbour and the raft..but no options to actually go anywhere
I have all the islands and haven't got any quests in the new quest line that supposedly started a few hours ago.
The arrow is actually pointing to your map, if you click on it you should see that piedmont lands is now lit up...just click on it to visit, same with the other lands...you should have marble fiord and mystery shores also available...they come before piedmont lands. The marble come from marble fiord, and the sand from mystery shores. I am at level 54 and just started work on ancestors atoll, and still haven't used my raft so not sure where that comes in. Hope this helps.
Sand Pit? Has anybody figured out how to get the sand pit? I read earlier one thought was to get the police station. But that requires level 41 and seeing as how I'm at level 36 with 4 islands going, it's going to be awhile before that happens. Is there any other way? Everything I need to do now requires sand, so I'm just building everything else that doesn't require sand but that's getting old quick...
Speaking of levels does anyone know how many there are? I'm on game level 91 and happiness level on 1st island is 112 and going no higher so guessing that's the number of game levels - anybody got there yet?
Can someone explain to me the importance, if any of the Piedmont Lands Island. I've filled up my available land with buildings and need to purchase more but each piece is so expensive! Is it really worth it? Does any of them unlock anything useful- like the stupid sand pits?
I'm on level 82 and finding myself feeling the game is becoming a bit more work than fun. <-- Very sad to say. I have over 22 million coins but no more land on any island to purchase. So why am I still try to make money? And though there are still some structures/items that give the "it's unclear what to do with this" message, most island don't even have any goals to work on. I've taken to making sure every building, from tiny hut to redundant tax office is fully upgraded, hoping that might trigger some kind of movement in the game. Do you know if I'm on the right track?
How to get sand pit: O.K. I figured out how to FINALLY unlock the sand pit. You must fully upgrade Mystery Shore's 3 Villa's. Once that is done, 3 new quests pop up. One is "Build a Sand Pit" but that can't be done until you "Find 3 shovels in the mines" and "Find a Wheelbarrow at the lumber mill". Other quests that popped up at the same time are "Build a Post Office", "Find 7 envelopes in the Trading Post", "Find 5 Parcels in the Houses" and "Build a Household". I don't know if the others have anything to do with actually being able to build the sand pit or not, but I'll update when I find out. P.S. I have NOT bought the territories with U.F.O., the area right below the U.F.O. or the other area below that with the guy you have to talk to walking around with the "!" above his head. I bought the are with the Guardian Statue but did not fix it yet. I did however finish the quest that tells you build the theater, 3 shaman huts and 5 trading posts. I don't know if that's relevant or not. I'm at level 37 with happiness at 22. Hope this helps someone.
Know the feeling. It's just not obvious what else there is to achieve and the only time it becomes interesting is when new genuine quests turn up and there haven't been any of those for ages. Pipes on Alien Shore & rails on Piedmont Lands looked as though they would be developed so like you I'm hanging in there, yep, sad but true, a short time most days mainly to see if any updates. Maybe we've both missed something along the way!
Big Fair I went on tribes today Lumber mill I bought in big fair sale/con was back ,it had gone couple of days back. It is active for 18 days but takes 96 hours to get 300 pieces of lumber I would rather have marble cutter back was finally able to mine marble bout 90 mins before building vanished never got to use it
You guys talking about "what to do next?" -dumb question from a Noob, but have you looked at your "achievements" page to see if you missed anything? Just thinking out loud...
Game issues Hello everyone. I am new here but have been reading the thread eversince i started experiencing major and minor game issues and i found the posts to be very helpful. Not because my game issues were solved but because i discovered that i am not the only one under the state of frustration. I have sent a few emails to the developers regarding all my concerns regarding item drops for quests like parcels and fruits that i have been trying to complete since i cannot even remember when and quests that involve areas that say "the time hasn't yet arrived". The only concrete answer they can come up with is to wait because there is a certain amount of luck involved to get them. So i wait. (If only they sold luck or patience for gems, i'd buy some) Unfortuntely, this game is getting more frustrating than fun as i just stumbled across another issue about the Tower House. I figured, maybe building something new even if it meant spending gems will cloud my disappointment. But...NO. Someone please tell me why level one makes 750/6 hrs and level two only makes 300/6 hrs. Am i the only one who thinks this doesn't make sense
Just guessing here, but... My opinion on the rates are the designers wanted you to earn more if you are on the game and tapping more often then just setting up something for hours on end. Does that make sense? You get paid more for playing and being logged on more than just telling everything to go for 8 or more hours and then turn the game off. Just my idea on it.
KalBrigger, thanks for taking time to reply. I understand how these money making buildings like the hotel, shaman booth, sweet shop, etc. work. The more you spend time on the game and the shorter the hours you set these buildings to, the more gold you make. But this is a house that makes gold from tax, just like a regular hut, villa, mansion, or household. That is why it doesn't make sense.
I think Kalbrigger's brilliant idea of checking what's undone on the achievement page is worth a try. My General progress is 225 or 243 (93%). (Thanks again Kalbrigger)
Achievements 94% and always work in progress but somehow not the same 'buzz' as you get from new quests, just have to be patient I guess ...
Building placement trick Just stumbled on this trick today and I feel stupid for not knowing it a month ago, so I thought maybe I'm not the only one (that didn't know - not being stupid); Bulldoze trails. Yep, I've been fighting the perfect placement of my buildings (stupid OCD) by working around the trails. But now I figured out I can tap on the hand to move stuff, bringing up the menu with the bulldozer and alleviate my problem one tap at a time and being careful not to raze a building accidentally! I was so happy about this, I had to share!
Hi everyone. I've been playing for a while now, currently I'm on Ancestors Atoll trying to build the lighthouse and big baths. There's not much place to build there so I didn't build all the houses available but only those that are necessary for quest progress (so I have 3 households, a villa, a cottage, two nice huts and 3 standard huts I believe). On three previous islands I have all the houses possible. What's the best way to go? Other thing - do you only build when the quest requires you to build or do you do it on your own at times?
