well, I'm still missing several items on Mystery Shore totem, with 13 hrs left so... definitely not going to finish, especially with Piedmont totem is to follow. bummer... I agree. give us more time to finish...
I am in the same boat. Stuck on Mystery Shore's totem with most of the items, but no way to get what is left from the theaters at the current drop rate. I was a bit optimistic, until the news of the third totem. Nuts to this event.
So, the update that came out Sunday night crashed when I tried to run it, didn't even get to the 'Please wait. Extracting resources' display. So, I restored from backup and wondered when it would be fixed. The update that was released tonight though worked for me. I didn't notice any changes over the previous client that worked though. I do wish there was some way to get rid of the obnoxious 'Hello Guest, tap here to join us' I'm not a guest, this is my phone and I have no desire to join someone that doesn't say who/what they are.
So, now that the time has expired, I realized that the Mystery Shores totem still has "items missing" when I click on it. does that mean I can still complete the task by waiting for items to drop even if I don't get a prize at the end? or is this totem going to stay there always asking for 135 gems to perform a ritual if I accidentally click on it? This didn't happen with the Valentine's task. That one, path to "upgrading" the carnival disappeared when the time ran out. Just curious... and wondering if I should just bulldoze the totem and forget that I even tried in the first place..?
Don't know - but imagine that however long you wait no more items will drop; will have been removed to make way for other drop items for next 'task' So only way to complete will be to use gems At least the carnival platform has some( limited) use even though I couldn't complete it - these totem are just 'decorative'
I got this tip from someone very early in this tread...go to settings on your device and move the time and date forward. I have been doing this regularly now, and spend almost no money on the game. When I first did it I would get a message from Aurora saying " you are cheating chief", but that was all, no further messages, and no, I don't feel that I am cheating. The first four or so days I started this game I was averaging about $12.00-$13.00 dollars a day on it, so I feel that I have more than paid my way. At the end of the day, I reset my day and time settings to automatic and everything is saved.
I used to do this until I had a glitch one day and needed to contact the help desk to get something reinstated. They knew straight away what I had been doing aid if I did it again, they would block me. Not sure what they planned to block me from, but never tested it after that.
Just got to level 100! Not sure why, but expected some kind of fanfare. No such thing. Not playing this anymore. Got all islands, all tasks done, £500 million in gold banked and boredom has set in. Either way, it was a good year! Hate to think how many hour I wasted.
I assume that if I need to contact them the same will happen to me...doesn't bother me tho, I'll just quit playing. Like you, I'm starting to get bored. Stayed up way too late trying to get enough gold to by the next cheapest territory, $1.6 million, and started thinking, what's the point, now I need another $2 mil. Just to buy another and another. Think I can find better ways to spend my time, but it is still cute and I will come back to it, from time to time, just not obsessively.
Warehouse help? Hi all! Im on level 19 and still fairly new to this game but im absolutely hooked on it! My question is that its telling me i have to use 15 crystals to upgrade my warehouse to level 4.... Do I have to do that or will it change to coins at a certain level? Thanks to any who reply!!
I only upgrade to the point that I have to spend actual money, then I just build a new warehouse. Have about 12 on the first island and 10 on the second. Also I have to ask this...is the temple of love a whorehouse...I never see any females anywhere but there during a " ceremony" and the guys all come out with goofy smiles on their faces... Just sayin'.
Ok I just updated. Maybe its just me but, other than now wanting me to link the game with FB and twitter, (free advertisement for you) I see nothing. No mothers day quests, and what the heck are "the ashy" islands? Help please I'm very confused. Yup quest arrived. Hope they let us keep the hot air balloon, its very cute. Drop rate on the cave leaves a lot to be desired... but a new quest is fun...
Can't even get game to load or open. States it has problems.. Cancel and opened 1 island but this morning needs me to download all the data again... Ugh!! On iPhone 5. Update: game finally loaded.. Beginning ashy islands quest of finding items.. Be nice if they mixed it so you can use gold and crystals or had crystal cost up date from say 25 to 10 if you just need 1 item before time expires
Hot air balloon Hey everyone. So I am fairly new to the game and just came across the quest with the hot air balloon. Now my problem is that I cannot reach it and have to clear the way, but the balloon is floating in the way of the scrubs I need to clear. How am I supposed to clear it??
Ash Island Just got the new quest. A balloon to take you to the new island and collection a bunch of supplies.
Chrissi- use option that removes houses and such so you only see the outlines- it's the house icon. The you can clear bushes or trees easily
