Hi there, well I didn't calculate the gold/village per hr, so I can't tell you which building give you the most gold. But if you were really into it, you should check how much gold 1village would bring in every hr, that way you can determine which building is most profitable, also remember that each building cost you gold to start the job, so you should check the profit margin per villager per hr.

Main thing for me is I play hard core in the 2x 4hrs frame. During those 8hrs, nothing but making gold, I'm starting to slack off thou, not be able to finish the quest due to the item hasn't dropped really killing the mojo.

Another thing about this update is gold sink. Yes, the tennis statue is ridiculous, they basically asked us to spent 2mil for like 1k reward, like how can you justify that. Not only that, it only gives 200 happiness, compare it to the harvest cart, cost 50k n gives 100happiness, so 10times cheaper n half the happiness, I know what I would buy to boost my happiness lvl.

Apart from that, the searching for the crystal quest to open murlord also require a bit of gold. All in all, with this update, assuming you buy all territories, you will lose about 18mil, then quest, etc (without doing the tennis statue), you will need probably another 3mil at least (reason for 3mil is because for a good 4days my money would not go up, and I thought it might be a bug, but now it's steady going up once I got all houses n collisium built, on the first 3 island). This is a very rough estimate as I only got through half of the crystal quest. And until someone get to murlord, we will not know how much it cost over there :(

Conclusion, it might seem slow in earning money each new update comes, however once you build everything in that update, the period between that and new update is when you see your gold raise very fast

Oh one more thing about the cost of buying gold using real money. The game maker is quite smart in knowing that with each expansion of land, our money earning ability also increase, because of that, everything get more expensive to balance it out, you will never be too rich. They are however forget to update their real money to gold ratio, and therefore 100dollars for 100k gold is a huge rip off (this figure was in when we only have 2island). But as everyone been saying on this forum, don't use your money to buy anything in this game due to the instability of it, cheers!

Well, I have Murlod Island open, so I guess if there is anything you want to know, it seems I would be the one to ask. I can tell you that it starts with probably less available usable space than Ancestor's Atoll. There is a quest to buy an expansion, which is 2 million. There are three more available expansions, one for two million, one for three million, and one for four million, and then three more above those, which won't show the cost until I buy the existing territories, which looks like it's going to take a week or two at the rate I am going. It looks like there is a castle, or a very large mansion or something in the 4 million gold territory, I am very curious to find out what it is. I can tell you that what seems to be the last quest on Island of the Ancients calls for 25 long term deals on volley ball courts, and 15 long term deals in the coliseum. I can tell you that when you finally open the portal to Murlod Island on Ancestor's Atoll, Murlods come pouring out at about 6-8 every 3-5 minutes, and tornadoes start appearing 3 at a time. I can probably answer most questions, obviously, but I thought maybe someone here would be as far as I am. I guess if anyone would like to know anything, feel free to ask.

I hope that they eventually add the friends option, and that if they do, they allow people to sends resources to one another (wishful thinking, I'm sure). I can produce coral like it's nothing, so I would love to be able to trade that for sand, or cut stone.

Hey hey, thanks for the insight info, I'm not as lucky as you I guess, since I'm still on the quest to open the portal. In the mean time, I'm just trying to get as much gold as I can, seem like 20mil won't be enough for murlord it seems. I'm a bit lazy on building more collisium, but I guess I can start now, or do it slowly since those order long term deals don't seem to have any string attached.

About the murlord and tornados, that's kinda expected, however, the less valuable space is another bleh >_> I hate ancestor as it is, to have another with the same space problem is really bleh. Do you have to build bridges? Or just straight out buying the territories?

And about playing with friends, I rather they do what hay day do, where you can sell your resources, much better than just trading with friend lol

    New Island Update

Lordelohim: Thanks for the update. I should be there with three more items. The Invasions seems like the perfect opportunity for me to get my firefighters award. I messed up when I expanded the Fjord because I had 5 dinos running around and I destroyed the invaders homes pretty quickly.

One thing I dislike about the new update is the amount of money needed. At this point it just becomes a money grind.

That section of Murlod Island where you see most of my houses is where you start. Where the blue orb is, and the two dudes are working is the first area you can buy, or rather, have to buy. It was 2 million. There was a Murlod tower there, that had to be destroyed for a quest, it was one of those red towers you see in the next available area. That was covered in mist before I took the tower apart, and now it appears as though it's the next territory that needs to be purchased, and it's 3 million. There's already a quest to destroy those two towers. As you can see, no bridges, just really expensive land. There's definitely no lack of space, as there is with Ancestor's Atoll, it's just really expensive to unlock it. The trouble I'm having is, I don't have enough happiness to buy more houses, I don't have enough money to buy things to increase happiness, or anywhere to put them, and I don't have enough warehouse space to hold enough food to buy the better buildings. This island is tricky.

As for making money, I'm coming to realize that I have wasted A LOT of potential money using the higher duration deals. The amount of money you make goes down considerably the longer the deals you buy. I was using 2 hour deals on everything, save for when I am asleep, but you get a lot more money and resources out of the 30 minute and one hour deals, if you have the time to be checking in that much.

Any more questions, feel free to ask. Posting that screenshot was pretty easy too, so if anyone needs a pic of anything else, just ask.

And here is what pretty much has to be Murlod Castle at the top of Murlod Island, probably about 20 million gold away, or more.

    Murlod Island

Thanks for all of this info. I am devoting all of my resources to building money grinders now. I'm thinking of holding a volleyball tournament.

I'll jump in on a volleyball tournament. Between my 4 other islands, I have 53 volleyball courts.

Well, I have made a money chart (spreadsheet ftw), if you really devoted, 3mins deal on candy shop gives you the best money per hr (5.9k per hr). 1hr deals volleyball and coliseum are about the same (about 1.3k/hr), with coliseum is slight higher but only by 20-30g. If you do 30min deals on trading post, it's about 50g better than coliseum n volleyball court. On the long term deals, 6hrs from coliseum gives you the best price (500g/hr), however, if your sleep pattern is 8hrs, stay with volleyball court(440g/hr). Kill all your theatre and shaman shop, they are bad for money, same with hotel. Athletes' arena is second runner up on gold per hr if you use 3mins deal on candy shop, but best on all other timers, however you need 40 gems to purchase the shop. I forgot to check the special temples, however, they are quite good for money on long term deal compares to other long term deals.

Keep in mind that these figures using the bonus income buff, as that's when you want to maximize your profit. Before these, I know I have to stick with 30mins deals, however, I was using a lot of 2hrs still, basically all the building I have. After the spreadsheet, I realize just how horrible theatre and hotel, and shaman shop was :(

Hope this help lol. Uhm, do we need the quest to clear the crystal orb so it shine the way through the mist for us like in island 1?

I assume it had to be a typo, but you said volleyball courts only make 1.3k an hour. Even at a glance that is incredibly wrong. Volleyball is 2500 up front for 6000 return on a 1 hour deal, that's 3.5k/hr. I think the Dino Park is probably the highest income per hour now, but like Athlete's Arena, it costs crystals. I did get one though, for the sake of building completion, so if anyone wants to know the deals, I'll post them.

Just an update: I STILL have no resolution from the developer, on my refund. I made it really, REALLY clear that I need my money back, NOT the gems, as this game is too unstable to be worth playing through 40-odd levels again to get back to where I was. But, after nearly a month of waiting for the refund on my double charge, and nearly a week for the rest of my refunds, all I got was some gems I am not going to be able to use. To add insult to injury, I bought all my gems on 2x or 3x value days, but I was only credited as if I'd bought them on single value days.

I have written back yet AGAIN, explaining that this is not good enough, and I want my refund, but I'm beginning to lose hope.

Whatever you do, don't spend money on this game, unless you don't mind losing it completely. :-(

Hi there, it's per villagers. The amount is per hr per villager as each building use different amount of villagers. Looking at the spreadsheet, volleyball actually give more gold than coliseum, again, only by less than 50g different. I don't have the Dino park, so can't tell you how well it does. My calculation formular is (revenue - cost)/villagers/hr

Uhm, my bf told me that depend on what country you are in, you might be able to get a refund off apple. Apparently, in Taiwan, it's a law that if you're unhappy with the product, they have to refund you back but only within the first 2week after purchase. You might want to try apple, and complain about the developers. I know a few ppls has problem, trying to contact apple and might/might not get it resolve, but hopefully, seeing more and more customers complain, they might do something about it. It's a big stretch, but all the best to you :(

Here's a few updates for the day. First, i paid a bit more attention to my money making than usual. When I woke up, I bought the middle territory on Murlod Island for 3 million. So, I started my night with 249,010, that was at 12am (I'm nocturnal). I just set up my 4 islands before bed, and after that investment, as of 9am, I have 1,315,872. So, I made about 1.1 million in about 9 hours, doing mostly one hour deals on volleyball courts. I was producing materials on several of the islands as well, so that cut into profit. Anything I wasn't doing with volleyball courts I was using the island specialty facilities and coliseums. For informational purposes, I have 12 courts on Island of the Ancients, 16 each on Marble Fiord and Mystery Shore, and 7 on Ancestor's Atoll.

Also, I would like to let everyone know what the Dino Park gets you. It is 40 crystals to buy, 4 crystals to upgrade to level 2, 6 more to upgrade to level 3, and 10 more to level 4, so 60 crystals total, equal to basically $7 without a 3x bonus. What it gets you though, is pretty good.
    1 hour deal is 4000 for 8000
    2 hour deal is 7000 for 13000
    4 hour deal is 11000 for 22000
    8 hour deal is 14000 for 27000
Alone, none of that is particularly special, BUT, each deal is worth 1000 experience or more, great for early game, and every deal requires NO WORKERS. So, minus investment, it is purely free money and experience. If this had been available when I started playing, I would have bought one immediately, if I had also known how addicted to this game I would become.

And the castle like structure at the top of Murlod Island is referred to in one of the dialogues as the Murlod Treasury. The territory it is located in is another 4 million, and the territory to the right of it is 2 million. The territory to the left of it is not available to expand yet in my game, but my guess is 3 million, and if that is correct, it puts the total cost of Murlod Island at 20 million. That is just the purchase of land, and does not account for having to build every structure.

I already tried Apple, and they told me I need to go through the developer to get my refund. :-( Which I still haven't got, thought they have now given me a few more useless gems. I don't know how many ways I can say "I just want my money back!" before they get the picture!
