anyone want to trade deus ex + Dirt Showdown for Dungeon Defenders and The Walking Dead? PM me if you do
For those interested in puzzle games (Portal/Portal 2, Q.U.B.E., etc.), GreenmanGaming is having a daily deal (19 hours left, at this point) on Quantum Conundrum: Season Pass (which is the full game and all upcoming DLC) for $5. You can also use this code: JRDXJ-D3QV8-GI0IM to get it down to $3.75. And the key that is given can be redeemed on Steam.
The first 10 games have been greenlit on Steam! The one I'm looking forward to the most is Black Mesa.
Bundle-in-a-Box is live! Theme this time is DEEP SPACE $0.99 gets you Jeff Minter's Space Giraffe on Steam, plus four others DRM free and/or Desura. $5.40 (current average, that's 15 cents less than I paid for it) will get you a Steam key for SOL: Exidus and Miner Wars: Arena and Robot Riot for Desura/DRM free.
Black Mesa is out now. Free fan remake of Half-Life 1, Steam required. http://release.blackmesasource.com/
I've bought and gifted it about 4 or 5 times. It's very good single player, and if you go multiplayer it simply shines.
Crittercrunch recently came out on Steam. It's by the same guys who did Superbrothers S&S EP-- fun little match 3 game in the same style of Popcap's Astropop, if anyone remembers that. It used to be on iPhone but the publisher took it down. Great fun and definitely worth the $6.
This Humble Bundle looks pretty good. Torchlight is a great hack n slash if you don't have it already.
Gah, Torchlight II in two days xD Two of my friends and I have been waiting for it since it was announced.
Indie Gala 9 is out (and is pretty good). Contains: - Broken Sword: Director's Cut (BTA) - Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror (BTA) - Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon (BTA) - Worms - Worms Blast (BTA) - Worms Crazy Golf (BTA) - Alien Breed 2: Assault - Battlegroup (Desura+Android only) - Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land (Android-only) If you beat the average (BTA), in two weeks, two more games will be unlocked. Apparently, they are: - Worms Pinball - Alien Breed 3
If you haven't done so already, be sure to register on the Runic Games website (here) and link your Steam account. You'll need that to play online co-op.
