I am actually watching this one, as if it goes down to the $39.99 that was hinted earlier, it's a helluvadeal, even for those who have the base game already. All the RW3 DLC is half off for the summer sale, which is about the price they should be...

Yeah, I'm a train nut. RW3 is fantastic if you like trains.

Is it sad that it looks like the only thing I'm buying in today's sale is Delve Deeper + DLC? Not really hoping for much, might get a RW3 DLC or two and Avernum or Burnout Paradise if they go 75% off.

 

Things that I'm considering today are:

Mafia 1 & 2 for $10
Batman: Arkham City if it goes down to $10

But then we'll see what the other flash deals will be

Edit: Oh, and Max Payne bundle for $7.49.

 

I'm hoping to spend as little as possible on this sale, since there are quite a few games in my backlog.

By the way, is it just me, or does this flash sale thing seem kind of unfair?

 

Kinda - but it's a good gimmick to get people to keep checking the site... I'm willing to bet that Flash Sale items will repeat, maybe even more than once during the sale. Last day or two of the Winter sale almost everything went on sale again.

The RW3 set is now down to a more reasonable $50, but it's full of mostly European DLC, so I get to breathe a sigh of relief and skip it.

 

Well, maybe they will. If they do, it's a great marketing move for Steam.

Anyone have experience with Trine 2? It looks good for this price and I liked the first one quite a bit.

 

Going to probably pick up a $50 steam card today to control my spending. Going to pick up portal 2 and probably trine 2.

Also i have an extra beta key for Offensive Combat(browser FPS by some cod devs, non-steam) if anyone wants it PM me

 

Unfortunately, Trine 2 was $3.74 as one of the Community Choices. I'm sure $7.50 is still worth it though. And definitely get Portal 2, very fun game.

Edit: Oh, and fortunately for me, I didn't pick up that Max Payne bundle yesterday for $7.50. It's $3.74 today

 

Back when I asked, it was still €3.74. :Đ I definitely won't get it for €7.50, but I'm still hoping for another discount on the last day.

Woot, just got Portal 2.
Finally something else to play if I get bored of Starcraft, hah.
