Did you get Witcher for Mac? If so, does it run okay? I don't usually play RPG's, but I'm tempted to grab it, but there seems to be a lot of people having issues with it. I've got a 2.8Ghz Intel core i5 iMac, with 4Gb mem.
It seems like you meet the recommended requirments Recommended: OS: OS X version 10.6.8 or later. Processor: Intel Core i5 or Core i7 (any) Memory: 4GB RAM Graphics: Graphics card with at least 512 MB VRAM Hard Drive: 10.5 GB free space on HDD What graphics card do you have? If you don't know just go to about this mac, more info. I'm sure you probably know that
ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1024Gb, so I'm sweet with the minimum specs But, I'm interested to know if the issues people are complaining about on other sites (like the steam forums) affect some or all users. Is anyone running Witcher without probs on their Mac?
Does anyone know if you can use pre paid VISA cards or something on steam? Edit: just did a bit of research and found out I can!

May Hurray Bundle is up! Indie' Royale's May Hurray Bundle is up - minimum price at the moment is $4.20 and includes: Dungeon Defenders Containment: The Zombie Puzzler DataJammers: Fast Forward BrainPipe - A plunge to unhumanity Wierd Worlds - Return to Infinite Space Plus a couple of bonuses for Steam/Desura & DRM free downloads.
I've been playing Witcher on my Mac. Great game, but it crashes every few minutes which is really frustrating. It's surprizing that steam continue to sell it, with many mac users reporting crashes. Even setting the graphical settings all to LOW, it still crashes every few minutes.
Finally my wish has come true!!! Steam vouchers go on sale at gamestop may 15th! http://kotaku.com/5909109/gamestop-admits-defeat-starts-selling-steam-vouchers
Bwahaha, finally. Anything that sticks it to Gamestop is always great news. Anyone else want to punch their TV when those combined game+Gamestop commercials come on? The phrase "pre-order bonus" used to make me happy, as it would be an art book or related figurine. Now it's a requirement to get some BS locked item that completely changes the mechanics of gameplay. And now that's got me raging about games with $100+ of release DLC... better stop before I bust this monitor.
Hm cool, I was always a little confused of the usefulness of the Steam Wallet feature. The only reasons someone would have to add funds to the Steam Wallet would be to purchase TF2 items or to trade funds via Steam Trade (though, this is still pretty new). It was also possible to purchase games, but you would have to use a credit card/paypal to add funds to your Steam Wallet then purchase the games. Might as well buy the games directly with your credit card/paypal. At least now you can add funds without needing a credit card/paypal.
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4156/ Commandos games on sale. One of my top, top favorite games ever is on sale. Commandos. On sale. Seriously, I'm so excited. Now I'll have to purchase it again. They're only a buck, at least - that's like... iOS pricing. $3 for the full set... //drooooooool
Total bargain on the Commandos games - I had the first one back in the day, got 2+3 off of GOG, and the complete set is a sweet deal. Anyone considering - note this isn't a shooter in any sense of the word - it's much more based on use of stealth/character skills and is very puzzle-like in the sense that you have to figure out how to accomplish your goals in each level. Great games.
I would totally it call stealthy and even go as far as to say that it has the best stealth implementation I've ever seen. (talking about Commandos 2: Men of Courage, the only one I've played) On iOS I'd say it's comparable to something like Hunters, though probably a lot more in-depth since it's not limited by iOS (that and I've not played Hunters).
God damn, some of the Portal 2 user-created levels are really good. So far, I've completed the: 12 Angry Tests collection Decay collection I recommend them both! They both have a high rating, so they're not really unknown. But yea, if you haven't tried them, I suggest that you do
