Anyone else hate the annoying buy mode? I find it so hard to place and rotate items into the right place easily. How do you get past best friend? I'm talking to my boss and have done for ages... Flirted loads, hugged but no option to kiss or woohoo.
You can flirt and do whatever for the other chicks in order to increase your "building romance" meter. This works for all chicks in sims. When you are best friends you can't pass that When you are friends you need work on "building romance" meter to increase that. After that you can be in romance with the chick, so you can have "Hot smooch"es, only after your relationship becomes dating then you can have "woohoo"s, sorry dude, before that, no woohoos for you
what is the best job? i'm currently employed in the restaurant with full promotions and i get paid $300 a day.
It's also possible to be in a relationship with the same sex. In fact, I'm pretty much partners with everyone so I can walk into anybody's house and use anything in there without consequence. I'm currently Vice President at the town hall and getting $300 a day. I make the majority of my money selling fish. Honestly, I find The Sims 3 for the iPhone to be quite boring. Its... too easy... to do.. well, anything really. I already have the biggest available house with most expensive furniture. The only thing thats available for me to do really is complete all the wishes.
I got the girl to become my "partner" but how can I get her to move in with me? Is that only possible after a proposal?
lol even if you propose (and she becomes your spouse) she will not move in with ya. Although you can use your phone in the living room to invite her over.
No, my girl moved in with me when we were just partners. Then we got engaged and married. There should be the option to ask a partner to move in with you either under 'relationship' or 'action' whe you are talking to her/him.
Make sure your house is upgraded and has a garden patch (The brown patch with a pole next to you house). Go to the hobby shop and buy a corn seed, a watering can and fertilizer. Go back to the patch and plant it. Then tend to it and harvest it. And voila, corn!
Goto quickmart and sell it or find the dude who studies fish, he'll pay more than quickmart, but he only buys tunas and salmons.
My sim died at work (laboratory) due to consumption of some chemical from the test tube. But worry not just restart the game and it will be back to normal
Haha. I, too, died of a big ego. I'm not sure what happened. It was pretty early into my first game. Luckily, like Slayer says, you can start back up where you left off, which is nice.
I have died twice while working at the bistro due to my Chef's hat being on too tight. LOL. Again, I could resume anyway. I'm surprised they didn't bring a llama reference in via a random stampede or something, that would be so awesome. My questions: 1. So, like the PC version, you can't cancel a wish once accepted & completed? 2. Also, do more locations get opened up later on or are we stuck with only houses and the lake to socialise at? No additional community lots? Now THAT is something a patch could add or even do an expansion for $2 or something. It's a shame that the locations are restricted in that sense. I'd rather have a couple less houses and more variety. 3. Do the Sims in the game change like in the PC version? IE -> do characters age/move awa/have kids/die?
Hey does anybody know what the pawn shop is? For me, it's still closed.. Does it open up later in the game?
