The first Sims 3 on the iPhone/iPod Touch was pretty fun. However, it could have been a lot better. The interface in this game seems to be improved. However, the graphics aren't any better. The ability to have babies and build your own home is an excellent addition to this. Also, there's a better variety of careers and more customization options for your character. All in all, this game is an improvement compared to the first, and I would recommend it to any Sims fan.
Is it worth getting any of the other sims games along with this? Or does this one pretty much have all the features plus more of the previous?
Well, this sort of supersedes previous Sims titles, so I don't think there's a point in getting the other ones, unless you've bored of this one already.
Building your own business should not be a selling point I any way. All you do is get in the music career and click on an empty lot and a nightclub appears there. You have no choice in anything such as size, layout etc. So if you're hoping to make your own shop - don't bother.
If you press the long bar on the right hand side at bottom of screen, it will tell you. Pretty simple. It depends what level you're at already. Best thing to do is go to hobby shop, but an easel and keep painting til you level up to 5. Also you need to have friends and appreciate 15 pieces of art.
correct. it sucks because you need to buy a building to advance your career yet you still work for someone else.
Been playing for about a week so far, and love the game. I have the other two Sims 3 mobile games, and this one is a good progression. Anyway, one problem I'm having is with the firefighting mini-game, which uses the accelerometer. The controls seem sluggish and I can't put out all the fires in time. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions?
How is the frame rate performance for this game on iPhone 4? I had tried The Sims before on iPod Touch and it's really sluggish.
On my iPod 3, it's fine, a was the original on my iPod 1! I don't think there's retina updates for phone4 though.
just try to go to work on time..for me,i usually arrive at stadium 30 minutes before..for example,if u work at 8,be there at 7.30 do this for a week,and u'll get that sponsorship..make sure ur sim in full condition..
I have never played a Sims game on any platform, but I am tempted to try it given the sale. For the Sims veterans on the board, is this a good one to get as your first Sims game?
