@Amenbrother,@BrushMyNoseOff: Even I found the controls a bit awkward at first, but after a short while I had it mastered. And I was testing the 4G iPod Touch with hands that wear size XXL gloves. @Amenbrother: There's some good tank goodies out there, keep searching! @planckboy: If you like a good RPG, I really think you'll like this one. Not just saying that because I helped make it, but as a fellow RPG fan. We tried to make something special, and we hope it stands out from the crowd.
If u already deleted/reinstalled the game then it's a corrupt icloud save which forces the game to crash on start up...maybe? U can try to delete the save file through settings/icloud
Haven't run into this one before, personally. I don't recall any reports of this nature on our bug tracker, either. I doubt it's platform-related. You say it happpened after quitting. Did you try multiple saves, with the same results? Can you start a new game fine? When you uninstalled, did you do so by clicking on the icon on your iPhone, and pressing the small circled X when it appears?
Can't use any saves it crashes at unity game splash screen with Game Center welcome banner pops up even with phone in airplane mode or just wifi or just 3G data my phone is 16 gb. Update I deleted again (small circle) this time remove or keep from Game Center Came up. I chose remove maybe this will work. Nope crashes at unity screen start now no Game Center banner
The TA review and a number of the posts in this thread have said the DLCs are completely optional. In any case we're talking only $0.99 per DLC, and $7.99 for the game. While I realize that's relatively high priced by iOS standards, this is also a large game by iOS standards, so I don't see what there is for TA to be forgiving about.
Sorry if this was asked already- does this use iCloud for saving? I didn't see it in the description, but then again it's not in Infinity Blade 3's description either, which has it.
Haven't given this a try just yet but from what I've been hearing/reading, $7.99 seems a little high (and that's only untill the 28th where it will jump to $10) for a game that looks dated, has clonky controls and worst of all, has iap. Again to be fair i haven't actually tried it myself so not speaking from personal experience. And for anyone who say "you get alot of game for 8 bucks" i just picked up the witcher 2 off xbl a few weeks back for $7.49.
It's mentioned many times in this thread and elsewhere that the IAP are quite optional. Trust me, I am still scratching my head about Contra Evolution which has, IMHO, the most disgusting implementation of IAP ever devised... that is a 1 star game... no, this is a very tasteful use of IAP. If you think it looks dated, well, I can't help you there. But this game has some very noteworthy devs behind it, there is a thing called talent. Here's the bottom line, folks: you can either support devs like this who work hard to earn your gaming dollar, who've set a price which supports their studio, their artists, their programmers etc., or you can accept whatever dogfeed EA and Zynga will throw you. Personally I find that TSS occupies the intersection between the need to bring in revenue (app price, business model) and the gaming itself. The devs have passion for this game type, and their industry experience speaks to that. /soapbox
Witcher 2 has been out for years, so the developers have presumably already made a profit and can afford to put it on sale. It's not reasonable to compare that to a brand new game. $8 is a very reasonable price for a brand new game of this scope. The fact that IAP are available is completely irrelevant if they are strictly optional, since you're getting a complete game for your $8.
Exactly. You have to realize that the game's initial offering isn't even making a profit, it's recovering the capital that funded the game's development in the first place.
Great game If you're on the fence about buying the game. Take the leap, esp if you're a RPG. This is not only worth the price, but it's a bargain. I'm planning to buy all the IAP just to support the Devs!
Alright, good to hear that you are enjoying it! Fantastic game, the graphics and controls are top notch. Plus, there is so much diversity in spells, rogue traits, etc.
How does this game compare with Ravensword Shadowlands? Mostly from a game play and story perspective though it is interesting that both are powered by the Unity engine.
