After playing this fame for about 3 hours, my only regret is not buying it sooner! Great game thus far, and well worth $7, let alone $1.
Not sure if you've already got this or if tis still on sale, but yeah, the game plays flawlessly on ios8
I only went to really playing this game since yesterday (and im 6 hours in now) and this game's pretty fantastic. Not sure if this game got the attention it deserves, but it should. Zero IAP, good western RPG mechanics with the party, character and open-quest system.
Wow... You're right. Didnt notice the starter packs right off the bat. Nonetheless, i dont see them necessary based on my progress so far.
Questions Hi there! I downloaded this game ages ago. and since then i didn't came to play it. Probably because of the following questions: 1.) Is it worth it to play? 2.) Does this game need a permanent internet connection? 3.) Can you play it along the way, like in the subway?
The AppStore needs a page dedicated to games like this and Aralon. I came back to this game because of forge and flame, and I really appreciate it now.
i came here to say that this game is one of the best RPG's i've ever played. truly a masterpiece. the story is so interesting and dark and the setting is so original, omg. i'm in love with this game.
You just resurrected this thread and the funny thing is I finally deleted this off my device last night. The story and everything were fantastic but I didn't enjoy the combat.
OMG this game is scratching my RPG need more than anything for a very long time. Though Ive played Ember and Titanquest they dont have that almost first person POV. The combat even when just thrashing about with sword, bow, or axe is wonderful and I feel I've barely done anything. As soon as I did that first sewer mission I felt I was in an Oblivion type game. The start was rather slow and unexciting and seeing that I have a short game attentions span, I mightve stopped. Gald I didn't! I bought this at least a year ago. I have at least twenty games I've bought that Ive never touched due to lack of time or lack of interest after a small amount of playing. Thank you to the developers! Make that barely touched not never, ipad isnt lettting me go back to correct typing.
Ok, I'm talking to myself here but I bought the hint guide and it looks like there is no way in. From the number of places that need keys that don't seem to be avaialble, I'm guessing this game was going to be extended if it made enough money, but it hasn't? Such a pity. This is the most enjoyable game I've played on the iPad. I've skimmed through the comments and I laugh at those saying the graphics are bad - Considering half the games on ios have little depth and consist of pixelated graphics. Soul knight was my last played game and it's fun but rather like dribbling a ball against a wall after a while. Repetitive. The graphics on ios CAN be better but something has to give. Im stunned by what's been achieved. Top notch graphics = lesser in another area. Is Infinity blade more impressive graphically? Sure. If I want to mostly look at prettiness, I watch TV. JUST WISH THE DEVELOPERS WERE STILL MAKING GAMES. Seems as if their website hasnt been updated for a long time.
The ending is the one time I feel the game's controls let me down. The way it's designed, you have to run from one end of a room to the other, spin, and attack in a very precise, time limited way. It became tedious trying to repeat an action that was flawed by the controls. I'd fail to get it right nine times out of ten. Apart from that, thorougly enjoyed this. Not sure about replayability as I gave up on the ending. I killed all the other villains, by using a bit of strategy and quick thinking, quick fingers on buttons.
I played through it twice just to try more of the dialogue options. No idea about the keys, my memory isn't that specific.
@Silver99: Your first post a few days ago made me download it again and start playing for real this time. I absolutely cannot remember why I gave up on it so quickly (after less than an hour) the first time. This is *good*. Graphics are okay, with nice attention to detail and building a convincing environment. Questline looks interesting so far, same for the backstory and setting. Combat is ok and not too fast-paced for realtime. Ah, that triggers something: Think I gave up on it because I started with a Mage and kept getting my butt kicked all over the place Now I play with a Warrior, and she's doing pretty well in fights. However, it seems that getting Lockpick 3 is a necessity, as without even Lockpick 1 you miss out on quite a bit of good stuff because you cannot open lots of chests etc. And I already found one that needs lockpick 2, need to come back for it later. --> Maybe you need Lockpick to get into that hideout? Considering to buy the extra pack for the Warrior, it's only a buck after all. @Silver99: Which char did you pick? Did you get their extra pack? And how are you faring till now?
