    Thanks for your help,

I tried something different yesterday. I built 3 coal mines first and then a storage area right next to it. This worked fine, gathered up 75 coal. I then placed stone and gold mines down, which worked. BUT THEN when I placed an iron mine, it did the same thing that the coal mines were doing ... lol :( I definitely have enough pick axes, so I don't know. I was looking through everything to see if I missed something, but I got owned by the enemy. Oh well I wont give up, I WILL FIND THE PROBLEM AND DESTROY IT.

Have you got enough pickaxes and settlers free to become miners?

    Available Pickaxes

Have you checked your inventory to see how many pickaxes you have? I sometimes get the feeling that items disappear from my inventory. I'm not sure if they're being used by a settler, or if occasionally tools need to be replaced. All that matters is that the need items aren't available, and I'll have to make them.

It can't hurt to check your inventory. Click the inventory bar at the top of the screen. It might be rolled up...if it is, just click it and it will expand. Click the drop-down arrow on the right side of your inventory bar, and then click the silver arrow on the right side. This will take you to the second page out of five of your inventory. How many pickaxes does it say you have when you run into this problem?

The game is kinda hard. I have no idea how to make some more warriors, leaders or other units.

Play through the tutorial and if you still don't get it. Ask around on these forums, there's loads of people that will help you.

I always have at least one spare pick axe, so that isn't the problem. My brother got this game yesterday and he had the EXACT same issue. Once he had reached the non-tutorial levels some of his mines stopped. This is extremely frustrating, I have tried level 5 of the roman campaign like 6 times, changing the build order each time. I think I will give up soon, there is only so many times I can attempt a level before it gets too repetitive.:mad:

    Thanks again for your help.

You are putting your mines on the area's that are recommended by your geologists correct? Entire grouping of little coal signs, not single ones?

Are you sending the correct food item to the correct mines, using the food distribution system?

I am putting the mines on the markers. I am pretty sure I am distributing the food correctly, but just in case could someone tell me how they distribute it. For instance 50% coal mine, 10% goldmine, and so on ?

Bread is the favorite of coal miners, and meat is the favorite of iron and i think stone. If the mines don't get food, they don't work at all. Click on the mine and it will tell you how much of what kind of food is stored there, if none is there when production has stopped, you know that is your problem. Give the mines as much food as you can, make sure you have plenty of food production going. Max out the correct mine at 100% food and see if that does anything for you.

Thanks for that, how many food production structures do you actually need ? I usually make two of each, is that enough ?

Edit: hmmm, I may have found the root of my problem. It seems that my water works huts may not be functioning correctly. Resulting in no bread > no coal > no weapons > no army. I have just been placing them near water as it instructs in the building information. But when I select the water works it always says 0 bucket of water. Could someone please explain what I am doing wrong with the water works building ?

Congratulations on discovering the source of your problem!

It probably says 0 buckets of water because the water is being used as soon as it is being collected. I find I usually need two Waterworker's Huts, so you might want to build another one. You might also benefit from changing the working area for the Huts by selecting a Hut and clicking the button with the Hut surrounded by a dashed circle.

Why exactly do you have problem with limited space? The 5th level has plenty of space. I have currently 3 grain farms and two sheep farms and any problems with space.
But yeah, you need marketplace, donkey farm and grain farm for that, plus vehicle hall.

At least you have a Mine...i have ample food etc etc but i cant seem to make any mine on any 'dig' in the level after the turorials. Have replayed the tutorials 3 times and must be missing some vital link in the chain to create a mine. I place them on multiple flagged areas and the messages keep rolling that i should make a mine in the area...i am totally stuck! Help please...

Dumb question with a probably simple answer........

I can not for the life of me figure out how to use majic. I have both temples and priests and 400 hundred majic point. I select the arms button and then the majic button and see the eight majic choices. Then I tap the majic I want and the circle turns red. what now? Do you just wait? Am I missing something simple? Thanks in advance.

Also how do you get you carriers to load your viking catapults since theres no ammo workshop. I select them and they only load one of the four rounds. Its not a time thing cause i have at least two hours into this campiagn.

Once u select one of the magic tap on any area to cast it.But some magic require u to cast on the raw material to turn them into iron or gold...

As for ammo,u need to build donkey ranch. The donkey will deliver the ammo to yr catapult
