Spoiler Level 61: http://imgur.com/hS5wFRs Not sure this is what you meant by 2 sequences, there are 2 cells present in parallel but it's an ordered repetition.
I see what you mean now. Well, I must confess that I haven't completed 61 yet so will have to see how it compares.
It is a two-cycle sequence, not single-cycle sequence. The modules at the bottom operate out of phase relative to those at the top for part of the sequence and are only in synchronization every other cycle. This makes it a two-cycle sequence. Having this said, your solution did not use all of the modules, making it a superior solution to the one I had. Congrats! Very impressive!
48: http://imgur.com/KJilsOz 52: http://imgur.com/hKIoG9y 69: http://imgur.com/AfXovrl To my chagrin, I made the mistake of viewing maynoam's interesting solution to 61, thinking it was one I was "below par" on. My mistake of course, but I'd request that folks who come up with alternate solutions post the specific modules, so the rest of us can try to reproduce them (I say, even tho I have yet to work on the "par" solutions to the ones I posted).
Hi, 9x16, Well done! I had just corresponded with OneManBand. Even he was unable to reproduce your solutions of those levels independently. You are the master of this game! BTW, did not see Level 35 (non-core, 5th row, 4th column) on your list. This level can be solved without using Spoiler 1 RP.
Thanks! If interested, here are some more levels I solved using less modules which I didn't see mentioned in the thread: Spoiler 29: Minus 1xPush/Pull, 1xRotater, 1xRP, 1xDisabler 56: Minus 1xTeleporter 58: Minus 2xRotater, 1xRP
Maynoam, Once again, nicely done! While your alternate solutions for Level Spoiler 29 and Level Spoiler 58 are known already, your alternate solution for Level Spoiler 56 appears to be truly new (as far as I can recall). [Update] After struggling for hours, I finally was able to reproduce your solution for this one! What a superb and very clever solution! I am impressed, my friend!
Among all of the players who have participated in this thread, it is clear that you and 9x16 are the master of this game. Both of you should get together to collaborate on a "final" list of levels that have alternate solutions and update a tagged post with these solutions. This way, future players who find this thread will have the list to use as reference. It is embarrassing for me to initially think that I did well in this game, having solved the game and being able to come up with a few alternate solutions. It was heartbreaking to read this thread afterward to see just how many alternate solutions I missed originally. Sigh...
I still think the sandbox mode would be a great idea. It could just feature the same set of levels that are currently available in the game but have unlimited module types for use. It would be a different challenge to see how few modules it takes to solve each level.
Thanks! But I think your overrating me I only finished the game today including some hints along the way (Even 1 or 2 in level 61 we discussed). Also I didn't use less modules that often and not in all the levels you guys mentioned, I still need to look at that. I don't think completing a level with less modules here says anything since you have no indication that it's possible so you wouldn't know to try. It's not that I did the basic solution and went on to find more simplified ones (In fact I am not even sure I know how to get the 'full' solution in some of these yet)
Im not sure if this one has been mentioned but Ive just found an alternative solution to level 70 with 2 modules left over. (a push/pull and an on/off switch)
Yes, 2 alternative solutions for Level 70 are currently known. One with 1 module left and one with 2 modules left (the one you also got).
You may be right, also. I simply compared to those solutions I already know, regardless of source. I think someone (not me) needs to take charge to compile a list of all of the alternative solutions.
Just played level 21, its really clever how all works out, having fun with this game, I can see that this is really getting tough near the end.
Could one of you guys please post the solution to level 68? I cant seem to figure this one out at all, and Ive reached the point where I would just like to have it explained to put me out of my misery.
I didn't want to look but after staring at my screen for 2 hours trying to figure it out I had. I am now super disappointed in myself because I was on the right train of thought, I'm sure I would have gotten it had I slept on it. I've never been this sucked into an iOS game before.
