@Pablo: shhhhh! I guess I should consider making a Hint/walkthough companion App for The Secret of Grisly Manor... It was a whole different scene playing these games when I was a kid. Not having the internet really slowed you down! I remember playing Zork I for MONTHS!
If you look on the globe, there's a word near the bottom - that will give you a clue (or at least help show you where to look for one!). QS
I am at the same place. I tried the colors from the word on the globe, then tried the colors from the word in the painting in the study and neither are working. Besides the fact that both words are five letters and there are only four color combination locks. I don't know what I'm missing here. I even tried them in the alphabetical color order according to the letters on the fridge. I tried the one color that didn't show in any of the letters from either words.
To all above: Look around the study - notice how many entrances there are - if both are open figure out how to close one and re-enter the room - what you seek is not in plain sight. The clue is a four letter word.
OMG! I cant believe i missed the [redacted] for so long! I was stuck for a while but didnt even realise there was a [redacted] on the [redacted]. Obviously I immediately [redacted] and then [redacted] the [redacted] and [redacted]. Which made total sense then! Awesome game by the way!
I dont know how to solve globe puzzle. I think that the point is something with cars wheel, but i try anything and i didnt make it work. I dont have any mire idea. If someone can help me pls
Can't figure out the clock!!! Ok, so this is a GREAT game!!! I am really loving it! I have the combination and the fish in the bowl. The fire is lit. I feel I must throw the water on the fire to get the thing that's too hot to touch! But can't figure out the bathtub that I am sure is involved! And how does the combination relate to the clock? Or it doesn't?? Minute hand or hour hand like a locker, I've tried it all... HELP!! And thank you for a QUALITY adventure game
Combination doesn't have to do with the clock. You are right though that the clock holds he key to what you need to do next. To set the right time - you must have been outside. The trunk has the answer you seek.
Re: Trunk and clock, any further hints with how to interpret symbols? I need a fuse, and something to plug up the bathtub (I think?) Thanks
The symbols will make sense when they need to if that makes sense. The trunk only begins your ability to open the clock - there is a step in between. Don't look too much into it until you have to. Clock and bathtub go hand in hand. I don't remember where I found the fuse. - Just be sure to look everywhere, open every door you can, use the items you get when you get them, don't overlook the outside. Everything you click that gives you a message is generally used at some point in the game - take note for future reference. (what's in your inventory right now, maybe it will spark my memory)
They are stuck in corners of places. You have to be careful to study everything you find. You never know when they might pop up. One is early in the game, one is later in the game if that helps you.

Fish in bowl, completed ticket, and matches. I haven't cracked the falcons yet, is that my next move? And if so, a point in the right direction is appreciated. Thanks again!
Hmmm a few other things too. Falcons I believe is the direction to head. Did you find the magnet? Did you find outside? (note to self - must replay game to remember all these details!)
