Definitely different. I've heard Aralon music enough to be certain. (Aralon sort of makes you go crazy after a hundred hours...or was it two hundred... ) Have we got any ETA as for the release date?
SCREENSHOTS NOW UP!! http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=10150119837896220&id=149992531219&aid=284546 I'll embed some of these in little while.
The game will be released very soon, so it's too early to score it just yet, but from the gameplay videos, it looks to be an amazing game - especially with the sheer amount of animation of 3d characters that exists on the screen with reportedly no lag/stuttering. Will be interesting to see how the game runs at release! Cheers for the screenshots Indigo8, they look great!

The screenshots are brilliant. Really making me excited about playing the game for the first time. Any idea as to a release date yet Indigo?
is it just me or does this game look distinctly average? the colors in the new screens are all mashed up, it just looks bad. the 3d characters look pretty basic too, after so long in development, i'm pretty disappointed.
Well it is published under the Clickgamer brand. Clickgamer doesn't really scream solid, deep gameplay to me. If it was published under the Chillingo brand, I'd be a little more excited.
I somehow think for the gameplay to play out as intended, the amount of detail has been toned down to ensure there is minimal impact on performance - thus reducing potential lag, stuttering and the like. The sheer amount of 3d animation going on at any one time is incredible if it can be delivered with no significant performance drops.
That's true. Individual polygon counts for individual monsters had to be kept lower than they'd be if there were fewer monsters. It was important to me to have as many animated creatures on screen at once as possible - to feel like Gauntlet. A large number of design decisions were made to make that possible.
