And how do you know that this magical bearded fellow will "return" to earth? Did the book of fictional stories tell you this?

I hope he doesn't forget the fish and the wine, and I hope he has a gluten free option for his bread. I haven't got anything out for dinner yet.

I knew this thread would/will turn into an argument against religion. Believe what you want to believe, I don't let anybody else effect me.

Way to turn this into a religious argument, you're such a tough guy.

At least the other guy stuck on topic, you're just looking to go pick a fight.

I'm not trying to turn this into a religious argument. I'm just having a little fun with him and his ridiculous beliefs, nothing serious. No need for you to get involved.

Well since the event hasnt appeared to occur yet (not that it would occur for me, Im a Druidry neopagan, no way in hell Yahweh cares about my soul), Ill just sit and watch.

Of course, anyone who actually believes this insane belief, your more that welcome to give me your car, house, and belongings. Ill take good care of them for you during the Tribulation.

    :)

    MidianGTX likes this.

You probably know we all think your beliefs are somewhat crazy, but knowing we think that already makes you better than someone like Random_Guy who just acts out as soon as anyone denies Santa Claus is coming back to Earth. Did I say Santa? I meant God.

Both Druidry and Neopaganism have Wikipedia pages but they appear to cover several beliefs so to narrow it down you'd probably need a specific website or book...

That's more or less what I had in mind. Sounds a bit like a Western take on Taoism.

This is the same God, Yahweh, Elohimm, that states that

    Deut 22:23-24, Lev 20:27, 2 Chron 15:12-13, Exodus 22:19, Zech 13:3, Deut 22:20-21, Deut 13:7-12, Exodus 31:12-15 -- People should be killed for various non-believing reasons.

Mores the pity , if you yourself do not kill anyone as a result of any of those rules, then Jeremiah 48:10 -- you should die yourself.

Even more so to the fact that no one ever acknowledges FIRE BREATHING DRAGONS...in the bible. Job 41:1-34. Fire BREATHING DRAGONS. :)

Of course , Jesus is a big deal and the paradigm shift and God doesnt do any of the above things anymore , BUT

Mark 7:9 -- Christ condemns someone for not killing their children per old tesatment law.

    and then,

Luke 12:47, Jesus says its ok to beat and flay slaves.

So hes not all that good a role model either.

    Your argument is moot. :)
