That's the point, unfortunately. See a few pages back in thread for details, or see the latest news on our site (www.redshift.hu). We are finalizing the next update and hopefully it will be uploaded to Apple within a day.
The Quest crashes I was having a problem with The Quest crashing. I clicked the program and it loaded the startup screen (Redshift present) and then just closes. I got the program to run again by clearing the memory on the IPhone (pressing sllep/wake button until slide to power off comes on then holding down the home button). Then I was able to turn off OpenFeint. I am running the following: iPhone 3GS 32GB OS 3.1
And you have version 3.2? If so, just try to restart it again and again, maybe holding your device differently each time. If you manage to start the game disable OpenFeint (you can find the option in the game's main menu / settings / miscellaneous). We have submitted an update, when that comes out this won't be a problem any more.
More are coming -- and we have a few expansions that are separate from the story in Hero of Lukomorye that are of equally good quality so we hope Redshift will port those too. I have gotten a lot of emails about those. We hope to have HOLV coming soon. : )
I have a small question--our Mithril Horde expansion was a free expansion--would you mind paying something reasonable for it? It's my favorite and is a lot of fun and challenge but it is a lot of work for Redshift to port to iphone. It is however one of my favorites and I think on iphone it would be great fun. Redshift has to do a lot of work to get it on iphone so I think you should not mind a buck or so. : )
That's a good question, hazarex, and I don't know the answer--the graphic looks and should be the same. Lol, I made the graphic. Of course, there is a world of difference from what you get with Silvergirl's Dragon Robe. : )
I would pay for any of the quest expansions because they are so much fun so I dont really care what price they are because they are such great games. So hopefully Redshift will port all of the quest expansions and related games to iphone/ ipod touch
I tottaly agree. Hey I'd even buy anything that redshift or zarista games make, just to support the developers.
3.2 The Quest 3.2 always shows up in my updates but it wont update saying "no longer available". It even breaks the "get all free updates" functionality... now i have to update every other app seperately. Hoping for the update to come soonish hence.
It's only available in version 3.2. It's in settings (on the main menu) / miscellaneous. In the next version there won't be OpenFeint, so it will not be necessary to turn it off.
Help - I can't post a New Thread on this forum! Hi All, I've registered and confirmed my registration via email, but for some reason I still can't post a new thread. Shouldn't there be a yellow "post new thread" button next to a "reply" button? Anyway, here is my issue. I've wiped everything out in the gateway-the place is empty except for a bit of moaning through a wall near a coffin and a mirror. I've gone back to find dark castle but it is not there. I think this means I have to clear something else out of the gateway dungeon, but I can't find it. Been over everything twice. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Okay, I see the button. Now I can post a message, but it seems that the message will go to a different set of threads (perhaps the main toucharcade page) than to those focused on The Quest. I just created a test thread. I don't know where it went but it didn'll end up at the most current position among The Quest threads. Any hints are appreciated.
There isn't any section focused on the quest. You can use this topic as you've done to post a reply and wait for a answer.
You have to kill dragon king and undead king. After that go talk to your cousin in the castle and that's it
I killed 'em both. There's nothing left to kill (except for the moaning behind a wall); I cleared out the entire dungeon. And Dark Castle isn't even present on the island now, so there is no way I can get to my cousin. I assume it disappeared until the gateway is cleared out, but in any case it is not to be found on the island at all. Any ideas?
