It's a solid rpg game with a good storyline and great depth. If you want to play a game that will keep you involved and help you forget global warming and massive unemployment, the Quest is a good game to play imho. It's worth the money. And it is half the price of going to the movies. : ) With popcorn and soda, you would have to add another $10 to the price of the Quest for entertainment. Make a better argument for price drop other than you would like to see a price drop. : ) The recent problem with Open Feint is not a good reason--apple iphone platform is in great flux right now with the new 3.0 version of iphone and the problem will be fixed and then it will have many more expansions that are priced comparatively low. I know a lot of people think they can price their game at .99 and make a fortune and sometimes that's valid and sometimes it's not but I respect those people who price their game at what they think the value is and stand by it. : )
It has been on permanent price drop since we started selling it on the App Store. We are not planning on dropping the price further. It's a very large RPG which took a lot of time to make. In our humble opinion it's very good value for the money. (And we don't beleive the "price it at $0.99 so a million people will buy it" mentality. At least not with this game. We think that it's a very good hardcore RPG, but most people wouldn't buy a hardcore RPG with "dated" graphics even for $0.99.)
In the standalone version I think yes. In the Quest 3.2, I think yes but there is an Open Feint new problem in Quest 3.2 that prevents you from even thinking about putting on that luscious, highly enchantable, short, beautiful, foxy, glamorous, silver robe so you have to wait like all of us for next update.
When you finally do get to put it on, you will be a very happy Quester. : ) Cause it is enchant storage 2500. Just think about it -- if you thought 1000 was great. : ) And if you're short of cash you can sell it for 25,000 gold. : ) It boosts your ac by 9. That's the least of its value. : )
It is an awesome RPG. Thanks so much for making it. It has been well worth the money. I have just finished the main game. Whew. One final question....I have a little pirate chest from one of the sub quests. How do I open it?
I'm prepairing to go to thule. I got lava armour which is superiorly enchantable. So do you have any advice with what should I enchant it with? I was thinking deseases but I'm not sure.
Was the game erase from the itunes store studdently these days? I was not able to find it in the store today. What happened?
Yeah there was a bug so it was pulled. The game crashed at the opening because of openfeint, but only for users of 3.x software. Look a few pages back and you'll se what elendil wrote
We are working on Hero of Lukomorye II right now. I think we'll release all existing expansion from the HOL series. There are four currently, but Zarista games (of which Catacomber is a most distinguished member ) are working on HOL V. I think we'll release that one too. So, including the official expansion, Islands of Ice and Fire, we'll release six expansion all together.
It is good that the bug with the silvergirl dragon robe is fixed but there is one thing i dont get. It looks exactly like the fur coat you get in Dookh Village so how could one robe glitch and the other not?
