Hey everyone I have had this problem for a while but for some reason i cant kill the witch queen because i lost the hammer of witches after killing Wireemu for Reekh. Was that wrong or am i missing something. Also where is Maxims Basement and Undersea Grotto in HOLI
sadly, the only weapon that can harm her is the hammer of witches. You'll have to do it on the next play-through. I'll have to help you with the HOL stuff tomorrow.
I thought that the main quest and the witch queen would be much harder. They were actually pretty easy. Does anyone else feel the same?
Maxim's Cellar is in Home of the Forester in the extreme north of Luko. To get to Undersea Grotto talk to Stoymir in Hospitality Forest. For both, you need to be high enough level.
Two news items, a good and a bad: First the bad news: The Quest 3.1 update will not appear in the store. Because of the long wait Chillingo advised us that instead of waiting we should upload the new update (they said that sometimes the review process can stall indefinitely), which we did. So the review process restarted, we look at another two weeks of waiting time. The good news: The Quest 3.2 update will contain many fixes and some small but nice improvements. Here is the list: the player can now view the character's XP and gold in full on the main status screen corrected crash detection, it should work every time now fixed game crashing when dropping more than one of the same type of item if the player fails Brom's quest it will be properly indicated now when adding or modifying enchantments, the game will always add the selected enchantment now other small bugfixes OpenFeint: updated to version 2.1.2 the OpenFeint user interface is now rotated to match the orientation of the game OpenFeint can be completely switched on/off in settings / Miscellaneous (requires a restart) In Ice & Fire: substantially lowered Pale Archer's HP In Hero of Lukomorye: fixed Silvergirl's Silver Dragon robe crashing the game fixed not being able to get back into collapsed tunnel in Prince Sarovet's Cave after teleporting out fixed the Crypt (now players can enter the Crypt proper) fixed Norbert not attacking the character after a week passed extra repair hammers on assorted maps other minor bugfixes
hey, thanks!! not sure how you guys keep making an already awesome game better, but i super appreciate it
I have been looking for the Enchantresses head but have come to a dead end. I have talked to the Mayor, her neighbour and the blacksmith. Have I missed something? Thanks I am after the Curio shop I beleive
Sweet, can't wait to get into the crypt. Only need 2 more of the things till my uber sword . Hopefully the key (scrolls) will be fixed, I accidently used mine so can't get the other item.
This is absolutely ridiculous. People have been checking for the Quest update for days, weeks now. There should be a process to complain about a standstill like that. I feel very sorry for the players who have been waiting for the update and have to wait 2 MORE WEEKS. Perhaps in the future if an update is necessary, the Quest update should be submitted first. When it clears Apple, then the standalone update should be submitted. Just a thought. I feel so sorry for the people who have to wait. I for one am totally disgusted. There has to be a more efficient way. Lucky are those who are playing the standalone game which appears to be fine and you do not need to have the Quest base game to play it. Do I sound frustrated? I don't like unhappy players and I don't like things that are outside my control. I guess that's the Nogur warrior in me. Fight, fight, fight. Here, all the magic is on Apple's side but there still must be a process to complain.
You can get rotten food for the Undead City get rotten food quest by doing Marusyma's sister's quest.
If you kill the cannibalistic goblin before you try to kill the Witch Queen, you will lose the Hammer of Witches that you need to kill her. You could stash it in a barrel and then kill him and retrieve probably without harm.
It's on a sidestreet (one of the L shaped ones in the corner that you enter from the outside edge of the village) in the northeast section of Phrynn. There's a sign (don't remember exactly what it says).
Note that you do not need the Quest base game to play the Hero of Lukomorye standalone game -- it is what it's advertised to be--a standalone game as are all the expansions for the Quest. While the update is not out yet for the Quest base game - it is out for the standalone expansion.
