Use ranged weapons. Enchant your stuff with Ac, fortify melee and endurance. Use stone skin. Pick up ALL the gear lying around on the island. Pick up ALL the potions on the island. Camp outside the hole and then go in, fight bat fearlessly, recall like hell to outside hole. Sleep to restore your life forces. Sneak back in and fight bat, recall like hell. : ) It might be there is a lizard lurking near by or a pal bat.

Not intentionally. They are Hungarian (Redshift). English is not their first language. I've known them longtime--they would not intentionally mislead their loyal players or new players.

Their English is very good but sometimes the nuances fall into the cracks.

    She is right. :)

I used the 'contains the buyable expansion' to indicate that the game now (with the update) contains the expansion, as opposed to earlier versions which do not contain it, so you cannot play it with them. And 'buyable' indicates that you have to buy it. Ok, now that I think about it, it actually means that you can buy it, but perhaps you need not... :)

Anyway, if someone wrote down how they think I should have worded this, I would be grateful. :)

    How about:

This version is required to play the optional Heroes of Lukomorye expansion (also available in the app store).

    or

This version works with the optional Heroes of Lukomorye expansion (also available in the app store).

You can omit "(also available in the app store)" if you find it too long winded.

    ;)

I didn't think there was any intention to mislead at all. :)

I think you should delete that entire line and just inform people that expansions are available for this title.

"If you like this game, please check out our two The Quest expansion / add-ons "Islands of Fire and Ice" and "Heroes of Lukomorye for more quests and adventures. "

"Heroes of Lukomorye add-on can also be purchased from within this game." (I think that's what you meant to say. I don't think there's a need to go through the long and short of how the expansion is in the game and just needs to be bought to be activated or anything like that.)

Redshift fixed it----the update should fix you up. We will comb HOLII for things like this before it's released---we did not expect such a graphics glitch--

But as you say, Apple has to release the update with the fix.

bought this on the strength of the lite version, for some reason i didnt like the look or price of it before i think. played it for an hour, done a side quest and upped a level! seems quite solid with a retro flavour and tonnes to do! if i get past the 2 hr barrier its a winner fer me :D

probably hidden away among the hundreds of pages here, and i seen a few suggestions about the latest update being available ingame, but how do the extra expansions work? im interested in getting the island of fire one but does it install as a separate icon with the main game unlocking it or? bit confusing fer me .. long day tho ;)

You get a seperate app for the expansion, open up the app and you get an option "enable this expansion into the main quest game", or something along the lines of that. Then after you do that, you can delete the expansion app and it will be in the regular quest.

Thanx but one thing I think you could put in HOLII and HOLIII is that you makw a few things a little more obvious like the trees that dispear in HOLI. just puttin it out there.

Hints? I will have to play through HOLII again now since it will be on a different platform--but to put in new hints--will have to play through before and after I send it to Redshift to be ported to iphone. But I can do that. We always depended on our solid presence in the forums to help avoid any problems players would have for places needing hints but I can add some if you think they're necessary. Just let me know. Every player is different. Some like it hard, some like it soft. Some like the hints, some don't. But I try. : ) I'll start playing through HOLII tomorrow--and think about where such things would come up---I was going to send it to Redshift this weekend but another week won't hurt. : )

I found a easier way to save money, get a few superiobly (can't spell it) items and keep enchanting them for environment magic, then make homemade fortify magic potions. Equip them and then use the potion and you can enchant high stuff, i was at like 20 environment magic base, but with equips and stuff im way higher and with the potion i can enchant 2k+....

Innkeeper Otet whom you can find near where you find Baba Yaga can train enchant up to level 90. But try drinking a lot of fortify magic potions and get your environment magic up as high as you can and then try enchanting.

Silvergirl trains Environment Magic up to 80. Innkeeper Otet's inn is not a conventional inn---you might say it is a hallucination in a mirror. : ) Somewhere in Baba Yaga Forest you can find a number of things including him and Agent Kolobok, whom if you play the HOL series to the end, will be an endearing and useful companion who will travel with you. He is one sweet cookie. :)

Be sure to pick up Agent Kolobok in Baba Yaga Forest as the game will be quite different if you don't have him in your backpack.
