Just pretend you've been dropped in a savage environment where you can't take anything for granted. Everything and everybody is out to delude, trap, kill and infect you and maybe take all your cash. And tap, hit cautiously everything that looks tappable/hittable. : ) Explore and have fun. And keep an extra save file. : )
ahaha. best advice ever for this game. so, with HOL I heading our way, you said cracks and such will contain secrets. To be honest, this stresses my character out There are sooo many! when i first started the quest, i started tapping on all of them and was frustrated it wasnt leading anywhere.glad to see this will keep me busy forever!
Well, I never counted the cracks in HOLI. I don't think they made the Guinness Book of World Records for number of cracks ever in a game! But there are enough to keep you busy and not too many to make you crackophobic. : ) Are you saying you're suffering from crackophobia? YOU, the Hero? What did the Mysterious Man do to you? Or was it the Witch Queen or the Cyclops King? Would you rather be on a reality show eating something slimy? : ) Of course you can finish the game and just SAY NO to CRACK(S). (That is a local but wise joke.)
ive stayed up many a night searching for crack(s) til the sun came up even. if youre ever on the west coast ( freymore of course), maybe you could come to our local chapter of crackaholics anonymous
!! Lol, am a crackaholic on the east coast, even though at one time I lived in Freymore. We don't have any chapters -- we just have our individual hunger for CRACKS (if and only if they give us something when we hit or tap them)! But in HOLI, I came into my full crack-loving satisfaction and just said yes. YES! I should be punished! But lol, the game just gives and gives to us crack-bashing, crack-tapping holics or whatever we are. : )
It's a lot of fun -- let's hope the powers that be don't read this forum. : ) They would get a totally wrong idea. : ) Um. I forgot the Redshift Poker and a few little other things that noone probably will ever find. Let us hope. : )
holy crap! im so excited.this is the coolest game ive probably ever played. i absolutely cant wait!!!!!!!!
Does that mean, that if I had not chosen that option before killing the beast it would have worked but now it does not? Is that empty dialog option now atcually one that is supposed to be available only after killing the beast?
aendaman: That empty dialog option is just a script scrap that shouldn't affect anything. I don't think anyone else has seen that dialogue pop up. The little box is there whether or not you've killed the beast. If you have an old save file, try that. But you have some strange things going on---the beast is 100% immune to normal weapons--it really puzzles me how the Redshift Hammer could kill him and the Sword of God shelf is on the left as you face the door, which I think is west in the game but I could be wrong.
Yeah, gonna have to check what old save file could be used for that... Ah what the heck, I will just proceed enjoying the game... I'm on the unmapped treasure island right now, having a good time with the Spectres. Thanks for all your support Catacomber!
@ aendaman: You're welcome-- @falloutmike: No -- but in the HOL series cracks are not all decorative - many of them are interactive.
Hah I'm glad it's gonna cost money and not be free, was just wondering so I wouldn't spend all my money..
Since I recycle game income into game assets, you would be contributing to your own future enjoyment, hopefully, as well as supporting Redshift and Dr. Vlad. A dime can go a long way. : ) I have a small wishlist of software I'd like to buy. Learning Cheetah 3d right now as it is affordable and am new to 3d and there's a Mac version. "Once you go Mac, you never go back." We could have a pub called falloutmike's. : )
My game was deleted forever... Normally I don't exaggerate with smiles but this was necessary to convey my sadness.
