thanks for the help any idea where to get the witch hammer and do i need to start some kind of quest? i dint find her by quest i was just exploring and ive messed up before on the farmer in matras, i killed the amazons and released th farmer before getting the quest and therefore the game didnt recognize that i soved it.
witch queen i west of the wall i think in the very bottom right map square without crossing the split. walk around until you find a ladder and hole. the name of the map square is swamp or marsh or something like that
Yep, there are two entrances, I think. One is in the "Fen of Death" map, where you will find a dead tree with a hole where you can enter. The other one is on the other side of the wall, called "Swamp of Tears - The Wall". You will find a hole w/ a ladder leading downwards to the witch queen map.
I will have to warn you though. It's not good for work and will eat up most of your time once you decide to get it. Which is a good thing
Just started playing this and im lovin it... Got a question for some of you more expierenced players though... I currently have the lords wife quest active along with collecting the three skulls for the shaman...Does helping the shaman tie into the lords wife quest? Reason i ask is because the bandit that was standing outside of the pit who gives you the key says if you clear it up the bandit leader will reward you/ Ultimately im trying to ask is there anyway to get the bow but still complete the lords wife quest?
nope no way to get the rogue bow and complete the quest for good. shaman has nothing at all to do with lords wife, and killing him gets you nothin so do the skulls. he gives to some skill books as well as spellbooks. if u dont do magic and u dont want to waste time kill him. and btw the rogue bow isnt a one chance weapon, they r actually very common in phryn and mithria shops so dont go evil if ur good just to get it
Well the solution to the quest and what you need to accomplish it are in a pretty tight area. The woman who gives you the quest says "You might need something stout and strong" and if you have the quest when you meet the Seff the cyclops you have a talk topic to Ask about a club---and you beg him for it as you might need it--so without giving the solution away--we thought that would work. : ) Besides, the forums are friendly.
hey thought id ask u since you seem to kno about it, where can you get the witch hammer? and dies the witch empire tie into a quest?
Now I see Myrobotwillneverdie aleady answered you, DonD_GT and you responded--I should have read all the posts first! Well, maybe I added some specifics that will be helpful. : )
You get the witch hammer from a high council goblin guy. Try all the doors in the goblin towns. Once you get the witch hammer, please don't kill the goblin king, nasty and child-gobbling as he is before you kill the witch queen, cause if you do, you will lose your witch hammer, forever! Tuck it in a barrel if you have it, then kill him (as horribly as you possibly can), then go retrieve your hammer and go get the (w)itch. She does tie into a quest. Welcome to the new Quest addict! Emmafan87!
Holi It looks like the comfortable starting level for HOLI will be level 22. At least that should be the pre-generated level. You who have SO MUCH EXPERIENCE will probably be able to beat the early monsters at a lower level cause you know how to enchant your gear, camp to heal, etc.
Slapshot--Totally offtopic--looking at your sig---I was interested to see Duke3D out--but of course my favorite game is The Quest.
Lol! You'll love Duke. Guns, explosions, and babes! Just wait till they fix the controls. And yeah, my favorite RPG is now The Quest. Great job with both games! I love the fact that it has expansions. I just love that! Bravo!
Good thing Catacomber answered your question before I did. I was gonna say I found it somewhere inside the "Empire of the Witch Queen" map It's been a long time since I got the hammer! Yah Catacomber, aren't you on vacation?! Or.... you meant to say a vacation in Freymore!?
