That did it thanks. Which brings me back to where i have been stuck before, the Abbey of Thule Quest about the Beast. Last thing i did was curing myself from the flesh eater disease that I got when the beast bit me. Now I cant find neither the beast nor the Abbot or anyone else that would bring me further...
Do you remember Brother Alvaro in the basement who gave you the potion to cure you? Go talk to him again. And again if necessary and then check the Crypt--you should find the Abbot walking about and the Beast. If the Abbot gives you a key walk south -- but the Beast is vulnerable to only one weapon--the Sword of God, you should find it shortly before the door to his lair. But you might need to use a compass, be able to find west, and tap, tap or hit, hit. : )
You need to start the cold springs quest first, and then there should be an option of asking him for his club when you talk to him.
That's right, Human. There are 2 ways to get Seff's club--one peaceful and one not so peaceful. If your personality is greater than 22, then Seff will give in and say: "Oh, all right. Don't cry, poor, sad human... Seff has an extra club. And thinks he would be gorgeous anyway. Even without his club!" Otherwise you have to fight him. Personally I liked him. Sniffle. You can enchant your gear to get your Personality to 22. SAVE SEFF!!
How could you kill him? All he wants is a wife. If you are playing as a female, you have a chance!!! "Seff the Cyclops is lonely. Looking for a sweet little wife. So when I come home from battle, she rub her warm tummy 'gainst mine. Make dear little cyclops babies, five or ten. Hubba, hubba! Hey, you interested?" However if you are a Rasvim, you know what to expect, the usual, Oh, you stinky, sewer-crawling thing! "Ugh!!! Your chances are worse than mine, ugly Rasvim. You stink to heaven! Your fingernails not clean and neat like mine. No woman gonna want you! Better forget about it!" I never played as a Rasvim. Rasvim folk must have thick skin but they seem to have a good time!
I managed to get the Sword of God (being actually behind an east wall if i remember correctly) and kill the Beast with it but when I go back to the Abbot and talk to him the only option about the Beast is to tell him that it is "Still alive!". But when I go back to the Beasts lair its not there any more?!?! Another thing that i noticed is that I could also harm/kill it with the redshift hammer that I found inside the Beasts lair?!?!
I started to make a new character and I'm stuck in the middle of a quest, Nobleman's inheritance. I talked to the jeweler she tells me to get out, I talked to the Nogur, forgot what he said. I tried talking to the Nogur again but I can't seem to find him, his house is always locked even at night. What do I do? I already did this quest on other save just forget where to go.
I've been watching this thread for the past few days and am considering picking up The Quest to satisfy my craving for a nice, in-depth RPG. My question is after reading information like this: It's very close to the Healer. It's a crack south of her but you need the club of Seff the Cyclops to hit it and get any result. Is that information available within the game -- from speaking with characters, reading, or some visible cue? The game looks like it would satisfy my craving, but if obscure actions are required or very specific circumstances need to be completed without clues as to what is needed, that would drive me mad. Yes, I can come to the forum thread and ask questions, but my pride will only allow so much of that.
You might need more persuade then talk to the jewler again. Try talking with the owner of the tavern too
Does anyone know how to open the last door at the sunken monestary? I got all the keys and none work so I figured it's a combination of pulling the levers..anyone know?
the quest is best iphone rpg availible!! help me tho im a lvl 16 undead mage but i have run into some "invincible" enemys lately. the cyclops king in thesilver peak caves and the witch queen in the empire of the witch are invulnerable to all my spells as well as my arrows and any sword-like weapons. how do i overcome this? for the sunken monastery u get a lost key out of the 3 green doors that opens the blue door then you have to visit all the levers ( go through the door to the left or right of the blue one) and use teleporters to get to all of them. to get to the next teleporter each time you have to seemingly "walk on air". dont be fooled just face away from the blue door and go up and down the trench trying to go foward. eventually u will find the right spot, go in the teleporter and hit the switch to open up the next peice of "walkable air" proceed to the last switch to open the magic wall, proceed into the final room and kill the 2 abandoned ones and the unamed one then hit the last 2 levers to get the book
You need the "special" weapons that you get from NPC's for that specific monster. You get a witch hammer for the witch, and forget the other.
does anybody know how to dispel the magical barrier that blocks the shelf with the key in the pyramid of ghule? I've look around everywhere, tapping everything but no luck. I also cant get past the barrier in the room you get to from the teleporter.
all the information is there in the game. It very much puts your logic and detection skills to the test.
